You’re probably right. This is an issue within their culture. No fathers in the home. Very large percentage receiving welfare for GENERATIONS!! Affirmative action, quotas and free housing wouldn’t fix this!! If it could, this would be the reality. And finally, NO PERSONAL ACCOUNTABILITY!! It’s everyone else’s fault.
@@rondas7772 Lots of options. Criminal activity is a choice. And they ARE old enough to know better. No..they are not interested in finding positive alternatives.
@@rondas7772 I grew up poor, in an alcoholic abusive home, unsupervised while both parents were gone, and I never would have dreamed of doing things like this. We ran around the streets in grade school, but organized our own things to do like baseball, football, play soldiers etc. without an adult present. We’d be gone from morning until night in the summertime. As teens we got jobs. That gave us something to do. We did cause some minor trouble like drinking underage, but nothing like you see today. And as teens we did not need to be provided safe places or adult supervised activities. We made them ourselves.
They should’ve showed the scene where the white girl was brutally, attacked by a mob of black kids. Or at least acknowledged it, since it was pretty graphic.
It’s only racist when a white person does violence! The average age of white people is over 50 in this country! We have something to look forward to as we become older now! Can’t wait to go to a old folks prison camp “I mean old folks home” where there media stirred hatred of white people can fully be appreciated!
I agree with you this is unaccpatable, even with my Norweigan background where we treat our prisoners better than students in many cases. They really need to step up so this doesnt happen agian
Yes. If a fine is involved, the kid should pay for that. Also, we need to stop calling them kids; they are teens. As a teenager, I knew right from wrong. If you want to jump on cars, you must pay for it (not mommy/daddy, the teenager). Parents should pay for the emotional damage they cause in the community. Your child wants to set fire, so you and your child must do community service (cleaning the streets, planting trees, etc.) And if you don't, jail time for the both of you together. And jail time should be spent cleaning up the community they don't care about. Let the kids/teenage be responsible for the victims, and the parents/kids be responsible for their community.
@@isabellesapphirethomas1681 That's all fine and dandy. Unfortunately, there are places, like Detroit where i'm from, where we didn't grow up with any "parents" or supervision of any kind.
@@isabellesapphirethomas1681 that want solve you’re slow to think money will change this, nah not in that way this shit is designed if it notice these are all low class older children which are teenagers
@@CBourn48223 put parents in jail on the weekends. If they don't want to be corrections officers at home, send them to jail so they can see and learn. Too many single parents and bad parents refuse to do the hard work of PARENTING so, they should look forward to months of WEEKENDS IN JAIL. It will show them the government can put them on punishment if they don't want to put their EVIL kids on punishment....that simple.
Y'all always have to take it too far. I pray for the generations of your bloodline to come, cursing someone else's is cursing your own! And Idc what response you have to that!
Look at how they treated Kyle Rittenhouse, and he shot white pedophiles. Imagine how bad it would’ve been if he’d shot a spring breaker teenager basketball American.
Or how about getting all high rise residential buildings on State, Wacker North and South Michigan avenue to get security teams, drop bowling balls on the youth mobs from the roofs. That should work.
@@alholds we need to do away democrats and republicans. A good leader for our county shouldnt be kept in a gate by one team. We should be more united than this. Chicago is corrupt though, no secret there. But the usa is pretty ripe with corruption on both sides.
Okay, so let's demonize them. Does that bring us any closer to a solution? We need real answers, otherwise we'll be stuck in this endless cycle of madness.
@@mariopalos9238 it's called arresting and holding them in juvenile detention facilities. If there are no consequences to breaking the law then there is no law. Criminals deserve to be demonized because their actions harm others.
It's funny, because I remember selling a nice West Loop industrial style condo a couple of years back during the March right before the pandemic. The seller and I met up after it sold and he asked me about inflation & whether Lori Lightfoot would get another term as mayor. I told him no way, we need some stronger leadership in place for what's coming. He felt she would win again. Never would have imagined her replacement would be worse. What a disgrace.
@@pinacolaaadas I feel bad for everyone who owns property in Chicago, not only is your property not safe but this Mayor will make home values drop to Detriot levels and make property taxes skyrocket due to loss of the tax base from vacant homes. I know Chicago is a diverse economy so it won’t crash over night but one thing is you don’t play with people’s safety.
My suggestion.....police snipers. As soon as the first punk jumps on a vehicle a sniper "disciplines" him. Do this 25 times or more and maybe they will get the message. "The plan" should also include loss of all government handouts, forced sterilizations and expulsion to Africa.
Read my lips: THERE'SSS NOOO PLANNN! Never has been, never will be. Let them destroy everything and then they won't even be able to live. Let them lose everything by their own hands. Those who are innocent and hate this, get out and never go back!
After reading about a group of "animals" attacking a vehicle and the driver being injured, I cannot help but think about what I would do if that ever happened to me and my wife. Only one thing comes to mind and it comes by giving thanks to Alexander McCormick Sturm and William B. Ruger.
I agree. Unacceptable!!! They should get jail time just like the insurrectionist on Jan 6. I wonder if they'll get light sentences though. We'll see. 🤔
@@spankybighead7135 Insurrectionist my azz. Left wingers have been responsible for deaths, injuries, and BILLIONS of $$$ in damages to local businesses and govt. buildings across the country and how many of them have been put in prison? How much damage was done on Jan.6? How many people died (I'll answer that ONE and she was an unarmed woman shot by a cop)
I was at Navy Pier a couple years ago for the 4th of July and shooting broke out....same exact thing, the crowds were so thick that you could barely move....I'll never go back to Chicago.....it just is not worth being shot.
If Chicago wanted to fight crime, they would have voted for Paul Vallas whose primary pledge was fighting crime. Instead, they voted for Lori Lightfoot 2.0 in the name of Brandon Johnson.
This is a way how the black community and the black mayor can push other diverse race out of the area. It’s their plan to make Chicago black only and less diverse.
I wonder what Paul is thinking about at the moment with all the brazen riots in Downtown, shots at CTA trains, stabbings, shootings, and all that other jazz? Just so sad God help Chicago at this pt people get what they vote for, but feel bad for those like me who didn’t vote for this BS soft on crime policies!
I'm in the suburbs and they're already branching out my way for groceries and shopping. I can always tell they're not locals bc of their attitudes & behaviors. They destroyed their resources & now want access to ours. I'm black & I back the blue. I also love the 2nd amendment, and got a good aim. So do my neighbors.
3:21 when it comes to black people, they literally always blame someone else, or ask someone else to fix it for them. lady, you have the power to stop this, you just dont wanna do the work and would rather blame the parents
what makes you think they want jobs? I thought labor shortage is everywhere since the pandemic. Last time I offered a homeless dude a job. He said, "I ain't want no job. I want $5!"
They're teenagers not children, teenagers aren't supposed to need adult supervision, they're suppose to be given freedom, but these particular teenagers act like animals or prisoners, so they need either a zoo keeper or jail guard to babysit them, sad they still need baby sitters!
EXACTLY. What happens if your dangerous dog is always getting out??? You're fined and the dog is TAKEN. If you don't take the steps to be a parent, then there should be consequences for you setting some dangerous animals loose in the world.
There is activities for kids . When I was in high school it was called sports. Track and Field, Baseball, Softball, Soccer, Football, Volleyball, Gymnastics, Boxing, Football, Field Hockey, Ice Hockey . Lacrosse ,Bowling, Tennis, Golf. There are plenty of activities. It’s no excuse for this behavior. You just got a bunch of wild out of control hard headed kids not being raised right by parents
Not being raised right isnt an excuse. As society we have to sacrifice things as a whole in order to make it safe for everyone, if the parents dont hold them accountable the state needs to.
I’m sorry but you can provide all the “services” and “safe spaces” you want. It doesn’t teach people right from wrong - it never has and it never will. Money doesn’t teach Morality.
These are a train of issues. Parents working 2-3 fulltime or part time jobs to get by, limiting supervision. School programs being cut to facilitate higher security from the growing threat of gun violence and school shootings. A percentage of guardians serving sentences in prison for non-violent drug related crimes. Poor wages, benefits and working conditions that help exacerbate drug use and trafficking and is a central point for the iron pipeline. It's easy to just say "blame the parents" ...when they are probably struggling to keep the lights on by shoveling future crap in a porcelain bowl into the gaping traps of the avarice. Nearly 40% of Americans make $15 or less, ... that is a lot of "school kids looking to make some extra cash," ...for a family that is poverty. ...and it is not limited to Chicago, it is happening in Texas, LA, Florida... The disparity has been growing for decades, this is a society in the throes of helplessness and hopelessness as the gap widens. Welfare is not subsidizing the poor, it is subsidizing the wealthy... this is their construct.
I was looking for a message like this because I said something like this but you articulate way better than me. This is exactly what I know and this is exactly what I was thinking I remember growing up in the 90s minimum wage of fair rent was fair. Parris were at home or cooking home cooked meals And they had programs at churches that were free for us to go to to do arts and crafts to play basketball for learn music even a cooking class where is that now if they even have it you have to pay it and you will see $20 on the year $20 a month sounds not a lot of money but guess what when where is going up gas is going up minimum wage is not enough $20 sound like a lot of money annually or a month thank you for your message
BS.... immigrants children don't do this and work WAY WAY WAY harder and longer. Parents need to parent their children better. Immigrant kids will get the whole family deported for this, so the parents have ZERO MERCY for misbehaving children...... The beatings at home would be so severe, you'd rather get arrested than see your mom or dad after an arrest. Soooooo, we need to throws parents who don't parent IN JAIL so they can serve weekends, at least. After that, I guarantee, PARENTS WILL PARENT.
