What's up With: Sonic Shuffle! 

FYI, Sonic Shuffle was developed by Hudson Soft, the makers of the Mario Party series, so of course they're so similar.

Sonic Shuffle was apparently Hudson's idea. They wanted to experiment with other series, and Sega gave them permission to use Sonic.

I'd like to point out that Sonic Shuffle was made by the team that did Mario Party 1 soooo yeah... And the presentation of Shuffle was MUCh better than what was offered in Secret Rings.

It was made by Hudson Soft. The ones who made the Mario Party series. Maybe they hate Sonic and intentionally made it to suck than Mario.

Sonic Shuffle is a game I both like and dislike. I love the crazy concept, the graphics, some of the mini games, and card deck system. What I hate about the game is how the CPU is programmed to practically win every time. They can read what cards you have, in order to land on the space they're aiming for, yet the player can only look at their own cards. The CPU is practically programmed to always pick and land on the right card number for both movement and battles. Finally, some of the mini games are more frustrating than fun. This game is the only reason I bought a used Dreamcast in the past, and I can honestly say with all of it's flaws, I still like the game. It does not compare to Mario Party 1-5 though.

You failed to mention that this game was made with the help of Hudson Soft (the creators of Mario Party) and that Knuckles is voiced by Ryan Drummond (Sonic's voice actor).

I love Shuffle SO much ;u; It's my childhood! It was fun (hard, but fun), it was fascinating, and I even empathized with Void on wanting to not be alone and unwhole. Plus, this game made me cry because it taught me to never give up on my dreams. It's really actually a great game. Am I the only one not laughing at the Precioustones and Maginaryworld? ;n; I love it

As a 6 year old, I had quite a bit of fun with this game. Sonic Adventure and Shuffle were the first games I ever played in the series.

Bad reviewer. I even played Sonic Shuffle recently with a friend and we had fun so i'm not just being nostalgic. Mario party does takes skills. The old ones. I love sonic shuffle. You're also slow, the numbers on the vmu is your cards

Actually Peter, sonic has 5 racing games. In addition to the 3 that you mentioned there is a sonic drift 2 as well as the first sonic and all-stars racing. Plus if you count both sonic rivals games (which I’m not going to) that would make it 7.
