Konami just wait. After reprinting atleast 3 times and banned Bonfire releasing it, with tier 0 support cards and new tier 0 water archetype. Komoney know to make cry every player wallet, again and again.
It is interesting to think that the Light and Darkness support in INFO could've been the substitute to whatever would've been in the Structure Deck R for Draconic Legion so maybe ROTA could contain whatever Atlantean support would've been in the Atlantean R structure. I'm just speculating bc they did really overwhelm us with product last year for the 25th anniversary so maybe they're slowing down on releases for 2024 but still giving us what would've been in those structure decks/deck build packs/etc. in the core sets.
Structure deck Rs usually retrain the cover card of the original structure deck. So maybe they didn't call it structure deck R because they aren't gonna retrain azure eyes silver dragon.
The new blue eyes SD isnt an r so they are free to take it in any direction the want. Maybe they focus on fusion since magia master would be soo good if it was easier to summon
I feel that it needs a better fusion spell that sends the materials to the graveyard for a fusion summon,a field spell that protects Blue Eyes monsters from card effects, a maiden with eyes of Blue Link 1, a Blue Eyes XYZ that can push an OTK or uses a form of field control. Make Blue Eyes White a dragon an effect monster with built in protection (cannot be tributed or banished by opponents effects). Blue Eyes only needs a few key card changes to be a competitive option. It needs a degree of effect protection, consistency searches/summon and a win condition.
@@Buztereryou mean Magia? Yes it hits hard but I'm not meaning just attack stats I'm meaning a clear win condition like for example a field spell that does what BLS does opponent cannot respond to the end of the damage step. While it's true Magia has up to 3 negates per turn in reality it only has one because it can only stop one spell, trap,or monster effect per turn so if they can activate 2 it goes. For it to be a solid win condition with card it needs some lv of protection "Ultimate Creature of Destruction can assuming it's actually on the field or a unique interaction field spell allows you to activate a Blue Eyes spell or trap from your deck that could help it.
@@JustNutzProd they still need to print the main deck masked heroes from the manga as is (they are normal monster's but could easily be given effects) so i don't think we will get a R structure deck for Hero Strike.
@neofan6466 with a SD they get 8 cards and essentially needs to ss any and every "venom" monster while simultaneously placing their counters on everything and keeping their field spell from being outed
What I would like to see about the Blue-Eyes SD is a real Kaiba deck with new retrains that work in function of Blue-Eyes. Like Ryu-kishin or Hiutsu Mi Giant with effects for Blue-Eyes, or other ones. Or Ring of destruction getting a connection with Blue-Eyes, like Fiendish chain now with RDA or magical cylinders etc (indirectly) with rokket/borrel. If they choose to go this route it would make sense why they didn't called it a "R" SD. Maybe Kaiba will be at the box cover like with the crimson king SD. I rather see Konami making SD's like this, then 'R' SD's personally
idk i don't see them making a structure deck R for cyber dragons especially when it hasn't been that long since the cyberdark one but i think they can still make cyber dragon support in a core set possibly being a new cover art for later on.
it's possible they might be stop doing those to brainstorm new idea's for structure decks or wait them out a bit and maybe go back on some structure decks of the past perhaps the vampire one or the red-eyes darkness dragon one.
Somethings that annoys me slightly, is that we didn't get a new archetype in a structure since... the lair of darkness one? after that all structures where support for an existing archetype and to make matter worse, they weren't all that great, the gemini one, dragunity, charmer, ice barrier, crystal beast, FRIGGIN CYBERDARK WHO GOT ONLY 1 PLAYABLE CARD. It would be nice to get a new theme as a structure this time around, and if it's good even betterer.
I think we need a new Jaden smookie fusion card that requires a neo-spacian, masked hero, and E.Hero as material. Whats the effect? Special summon lots of HERO monsters and an omni negate
Cyber dragon is tenpai dragon but without tenpai Field spell and with less one card combos. They would either make them worse tempai (no one will play them) or stronger tempai (broken)
You know what, I'm just gonna say it; we need a Thunder Dragon Structure deck. Thunder dragon is a mess to get, cards have gotten expensive and now it sees almost no play, despite being extremely powerful a few years ago. Of course, Colossus is at 1, but even if it was at 2 it probably wouldn't be such a big problem. Colossus as a floodgate/boss monster is quite cool for a SD, since floodgates are one of the best ways to make underpowered arquetypes stand a chance in a higher power meta. Thunder Dragons aren't weak at all tho, they probably only need few pieces of support, but getting the hole arquertype in a SD reprint would be amazing and I'm sure people would love them! Considering that Konami wants light decks for this year, ThunderDragons might just make a return!
@@soukenmarufwt5224 I don't know about that, the deck is not great but 8 new cards can make a huge difference so I'd say people would be willing to buy it if the cards were good
@@soukenmarufwt5224 both dark magician and blue eyes got good cards in the pile of unplayable junk, they could make both archetypes actually good for once
it did once have a load of cohesion but that was back then. today its just not a preferred way to play it. Also back then some of the eyes of blue cards were unreasonably expensive and it wasnt worth it for the mileage. im getting impatient, I want to know what's announced. no matter hat, getting a whole sealed thing when you've been playin for this long is not a good idea
Because some of the villains have a very bad habit of playing broken cheat decks that would be bad for the game if they were primted. I.e. Timelords and Numerons. Both of which were mistakes that should never have been printed in the first place.
an xyz structure deck based on train ? Atlantean VS Fire King ? Labrynth in structure ? Heck, let's be agressive on reprint and accessibility ! Pure snake eyes structure deck ?
I think Konami is clearly mixing up their product waves this year but I do think the early structure decks of the year were replaced by The Triple Try Decks they made. With three decks being sent to Japanese store shelves even if they were all reprints, they were priced at the same rate as a normal structure. So there will be 4 decks from this year even if only one of them has new cards. I would like to see more structure decks a year, ideally like 3 really.
