That Roller in the background is a tasty set of wheels. There must be some money in old tractors after all . Keep up the good work. All the best to D and The Doc.
Congrats big brother on 5k! Would love to chat with ya! Doc is so smart! I wish i could hang out with him for a week and learn and help with some of those projects CD! I was wondering what the yellow chain was for. I know its not for the Wizard! I am guessing for Hoovie!! Keep up the great content!
I’d like to hear about some really useful implements on a class 0 tractor I have a small yanmar 140 I know you usually don’t deal with tractors this small but I do know many of us out here do. Keep up the good work I really enjoy the videos.
I'd be glad to do a video on tractorsof that size soon as I have something like that on the lot I would be glad to do a video and I do from time to time
I guess Doc might want to drop the pan to see what is going on in the lower half. It might also get him a better view of what is going on with the Pistons, rings and sleeves. If it is going to be too big a job, and results in no profit I guess you can hold onto it for parts/part it out. Lots of those 600 series Ford's around.
Rubber valve seals can break apart at once. Easy to pull a valve cover and check. If they are bad, it's time to pull the oil pan and clean the sump. They have a nasty habit of clogging the pickup screen and starving the engine for oil, causing BIG problems.
First thing After it smoked I would have done a compression test. I just started a ran when parked deal that I bought, A 1953 Ford Jubilee started a few times ran it a minute or two each time .ran perfect smooth and Zero smoke inside the barn. After I put the gas tank and hood back on it along with a new water pump and radiator. I now took it for it's fist run out side. Ran great for almost 5 minutes and then smoked pretty bad . I idled it down and it quit smoking. But give it any gas and it smokes again. I tried it a week later and it smoked again over idle and after it warmed up. I'm like many other guys said worn valve stem guides allowing oil to pass into pistons causing smoke. . I'm thinking I did a compression test??? all about 90-95.
Sorry about that my father did some of the filming of this episode and he does kind of have a respiration issue and you can hear him breathing I didn't catch it until you mentioned it and I went back and watch the video
