While I was still in a strict Christian high school we had this seemingly nice classmate, she works with us in a part time job she does it to help her parents, while we do it for ourselves because my parent is extremely financially independent, while she says her mom has -low paying job, she just wants to help. She has also fought for our friend from his bullies. She joins the christian choir on stage every chances she gets. Overall she’s dedicated to Christianity to an extreme, while I was mild about it(that’s why I converted later), she’s also seen assisting the elderly teachers TONS OF TIMES. Whenever she feels a teacher or a classmate upset, you’d see her in a convincing sad look on her eyes that it gets TEARY. Then when she finally got herself a mobile phone and we got her contact. I decided to share her my personal problems, I THOUGHT she would make the best life team mate, oh I was WRONG, I told her about my toxic cousins and how my mom has a narcissistic side of her that I get gaslighted, and all the misfortune I’ve experienced, SHE ENDED UP MOCKING ME during THE PHONE CALL, and the next days, she SNEAKILY used it to insult be, like she’s trying to get into my mental and emotional health without getting caught while keeping up her NICE IMAGE. It’s hard to expose her because of how well she does it, my friend who had also experienced the same situation with her and attempted to tell others about her, ended up having people against him instead, I tried to stand up for him against people and told them he’s telling the truth, but people insist of listening to us and told us to grow up, worst is, this had reached to her, and the more she hid it, she was able to get way with it.
That's terrible. What a horrible person. I hope you and your friend are far away from that girl, though if you ever find yourself on the phone with her again, make certain to record the call.
My family saw a rattlesnake in the wild, it crossed our path and we would have stepped on it if it hadn't rattled at us. This would be a more believable story if we didn't live in Michigan...the Eastern massasauga is the only venomous snake that lives here (many people don't know that). I tried telling this to a wildlife educator when I was in elementary school, but she didn't believe me. 🤷♂️
Someone might’ve had it as a pet and dumped it in the wild. Lots of people will do that with snakes when they start getting to big to remain in their current homes.
@@kuroakuma4459 Most people don't keep venomous snakes, let alone rattlesnakes. Since that particular species does live in our state, it's more likely that it was there naturally.
Where I used to live in NC I ran (literally because I ran 5 miles every day) into cottonmouths at least 3 separate times, but they are quite common where I live, even though none of my neighbors or even my husband had seen one. I bring this up only because I'm still not even a little bit afraid of snakes but I'm terrified of spiders and have never had an encounter with one that I can remember. It is just weird.
@@laneatkinson6441 there are plenty of people that keep venomous snakes when they aren’t licensed to so someone having one and possibly having to dump it or just dumping it cuz they’re terrible people isn’t that far fetched at all. Perfectly possible.
I used to live and work in Palm Springs, California. From the late ‘90s to 2008. It was one of THE places to go relax at during the Golden Age of Hollywood along for actors and musicians and while not nearly the same tourist destination it once was, certain celebrities continued to flock there. The paparazzi rarely follows so it’s great for them and locals left them alone as it was common. (None of this “Can I get a selfie?” stuff like today). I met and got to know lots of celebs, since I worked at a hotel. People from the area DO believe me, but I moved up to Santa Cruz along the coast and I don’t risk telling those stories and people not believing me.
A guinea bird hung out in my yard for a while. I also saw 2 fish kissing while watching a mermaid show and my grandma was so close to actually getting the picture. I wish she did get the picture because it was funny, cute, and bizarre at the same time.
I have one good example of that happening in actual human history and that is the life of one Lieutenant General Audie Murphy. His book, as well as a film, of "To Hell and Back", are both criminally underrated parts of not only history, but also of literature and film. Seriously, the things that he had experienced in war made actual redacted things seem honestly tame in comparison, and, to be honest, quite a few of the things that he DID talk about were actually redacted, not just by the United States Government, but also NUMEROUS governments worldwide. However, despite as outlandish as the movie was, the book was even more no holds barred, and yet all of the contents of the book and film were indeed true. I would also nominate the numerous miraculous things that had happened in Israel with the IAF and IDF during the wars of 1949, 1956, 1967, and 1982 as well.

Oh, and, on that related note, one time, when I was in high school, I was in my PE class and we were doing laps around the track, and, after the class was almost over, and the rest of the lagging students were finishing up, we saw a lot of red wasps that were buzzing around and those evil stinging b a s t a r d s just, all of a sudden, started swarming us and stinging up, even sending one person to the local hospital. Well, needless to say, us students were rightly P I S S E D, and I got angry with the principal and vice principal, had explained the situation to them, showed them around four or five sting marks on my body, and told them that they had BETTER send the exterminators to the stadium bleachers to resolve this issue TOMORROW, or else the school was going to be facing a class action lawsuit, ironically set by my class. The school sent the exterminators and I had no more problems with those evil things since.
I went to school with twin boys named Ben and Stan Dover. The thing is, I didn't even understand how funny that was until I was an adult. I missed the opportunity to rag on these two boys who used to make fun of MY name. It is one of my biggest regrets.
I had the exact same situation as 8:24 happen except I threw a lighter and it landed perfectly in my friends hand as you would hold a lighter while we were on a poorly lit porch. Minus the shrooms
I would like to begin by informing that I have no friends, nor family. Nobody knows me. I know nobody. I even have no coworkers. However, I am extremely good at existing alone, to the point that I prosper far beyond level most social people have. It is almost supernatural how good I am at existing alone. It seems too good to be true because the vast majority of humans are extremely poor at being alone and existing alone. Yet, I excel at existing far beyond the level I did when I was, forcing myself to be social.
The thing about laughing at the rhino is that me and my brother have the same thing. I presume it’s just a level of stress your brain doesn’t know how to identify or deal with so it just finds the situation funny

Osborn, was going back to the airport to fly to the Vikings training facilities, and, presumably, his home up here, after visiting some family of his in Texas, when he noticed a car that was burning on the highway, possibly Interstate Highway 35, and saw that someone was in said burning car, so he smashed a window open, had opened the door, got the person free from the vehicle, and pulled him out of the vehicle, thus also attracting some other people, and they had called the fire department to hose down the car before it could explode.

A friend of mine has honeybees living in between the walls of his old farmhouse. One or two occasionally get into the house, and he has had honey drip from the ceiling before. I had a yellow jackets' nest between my walls. They chewed through the plaster and two came into my bathroom (I heard a "chewing" sound before, too). I killed them, then sprayed the hole with a really strong insecticide (stuff you're only supposed to use outside). After dusk, I went out onto the roof and sprayed the outside entry hole, and the nest was destroyed.
Yellow jackets, few know they are form of hornet, we're taking over my porch. They somehow made a hole in the mortar between two bricks and were between the brick outside and the wall inside. I got tired of being stung regularly and decided to do something. At dusk, I unscrewed the antenna from my vehicle and started my vacuum cleaner close to the hole. I violently jabbed inside the hole with the vehicle antenna. That infuriated the yellow jackets. They started coming out in a steady stream only to find my good friend Kirby sucking in air. Not one yellow jacket made it last the suction. When the stream of yellow jackets started thinning, I jabbed the antenna back in the hole a few times and the flow started again. When the yellow jackets stopped coming out and the antenna did not stimulate more. I turned off the vacuum cleaner, removed the filter bag, and discarded it into a fire. I then took spray construction foam and sprayed two cans of it into the hole and let it dry. After I trimmed the exess foam coming out of the hole, it could barely be detected there was once a hole there. No more yellow jackets ever came back to the porch.
