I had a guy interviewing me who had no idea if my position, or even his, was a W-2 or 1099. He had to call the accountant and I’m thinking “This is a decline”
I once had an interview at my local canadian tire, itnwas going well until the interviewer started asking questions about my family, like of i has a sister and what she did, it was so creepy
I had an interview for an apprenticeship that the dude looked at my resume told me that it was really impressive and he was impressed that I showed up early and dressed well for the interview because it showed I cared about the job, but then went on a tirad about how my generation is just so lazy... I did not get that job... needless to say.
I had an interview with Little Ceasers that my mom's friend helped me get. I did great till I said I could only do days due to college classes at night and can't work Sundays for church. He stopped me and said "it's not going to work out" even though he was scrapping for new employees. I told him I could change my schedule around and talk with my parents about attending the evening service instead. He still said no and told me to leave. I really needed the job so I could pay for my classes and gas for my car and It was the only job that I was told could work with my school hours in my area. I called and told my mom about it with it causing my anxiety to get to the point of having an attack. She called her friend about it after I was calmed down. Turned out, her friend that scheduled the interview for me was the owner of that location. It was my worst interview ever, but it got the dude fired since he was treating all his staff like that and that was why they had a high turnover rate there.
