After twenty years of marriage, I would say very few are ready as if they have been trained for the position, many will need a great depth of loyalty, patience, trust, that is built along the course of time as people grow together. I am this woman and I'm still not married and I honestly have been once at a very young age but once that man showed me what my life would be like with him I had to walk away because I just will not settle. I pray for my future husband because I know God has something great for me out there. I give my best and always am my man's biggest cheerleader. The hardest pill to swallow was to own the fact that I was always overgiving and overextending, I am embracing this new version of me that doesn't overgive but shows up the same way. One thing a good woman does to her detriment is give more and then resents the other person for it that's key to staying confident. Much love and respect to all the men and women that love themselves and don't seek a relationship to fill a void society is constantly making us single people feel like we need someone and really if it doesn't add value you're better off by yourself.

My partner works with just men. And if you hear some of the things they talk about regarding their women omg just disgusting. They put down their women alotttt and over the smallest things as well. So I told him to ask them if they are so bad why do they stay with them then?? Leave her alone ..she will be fine and as the man go find yourself another woman you think is better than this current one then. And they didn't really have an answer back why they feel like they are wasting their time and money on women that they chose and decide to be with.

I think that a lot of men want this but being raised by single moms, you have a much more passive men. A lot of men if you look at RU-vid are doing feminine things. I told my son to finish college and live on your own for at least five years. You have to buy a house and rent fix thing's around the house. Learn how to change fixtures, change the filter, and mow the grass. Get your finances together, know how to budget. Learn how to invest. Figure out to make passive income. At 30, you will be ready to lead. Why aren't more men telling the young men what they need to do.
Very practical -trust that he will get all those things done. Strong mothers raise successful sons. But he will miss the part where he has to work on his character emotionally and spiritually. I met a wonderful man he had all those material and responsibility things covered. He could have been so great if only he wasn't trying to please everyone and had realised that he can relax and receive love too. That he was deserving of love without condition. A lot of men are stuck slaving and pleasing everyone that they develop a sense of never feeling like they have ever accomplished enough. It causes great insecurity they don't feel worthy of love unless they are required to provide. Please be careful how you present these responsibilities. He needs to learn them but also know that you see him for him. His dreams and aspirations are important.
