Thank you everyone in the comment section for giving support and liking the video. Really appreciate it! I go to Malaysia often so let me know if you guys would like to see more topics about this wonderful country 🇲🇾🎉
I believe when youre shocked, it means youre out of your comfort zone. That means growth. Welcome to Malaysia. Enjoy the diversity. Different people have different taste. But kindness and peace always gonna stand-up 🎉 we love your pizza, and we condemn israel fans for claiming pizza is from israel 😂 what a joke
Malaysia is same as Singapore. Multi cultural country. There are Malays Chinese and Indians too. You can also find Malays in Brunei. And not forgetting Indonesia, their language is similar to Malay.
Interesting part about the aircon. Never know Italy has such law. In here, people love aircon because outside is hot (except when it rain hard). And about Malaysian eating desert before meal, well it is more like eat desert whenever we want. Desert is treated as snack here, no formal timing.
Bravo, senor... Well observed, good review of many things from food to culture to movie theatres, and it is wise of you to learn the culture and understand the melting pot of social life here in malaysia. Let's hope we get to hear from you travelling across the west msia and then to the east msia on the borneo side.
I thought online payment for anything and everything, especially for food, was a normal thing across the globe. Didn't realise that it may not be the norm everywhere.
The majority of visitors to Malaysia have positive perceptions of the country, which is good. Malaysia stands out from other countries in Southeast Asia because of its population, which is composed of people from the three main ethnic groups-Malaysia, Chinese, and Indians-that set Malaysia apart from all of its neighbours with the exception of Singapore. You may still encounter Chinese or Indians in Bangkok, Jakarta, or Manila, but they have all assimilated so effectively that it is difficult to distinguish them from natives. All Malaysian ethnic communities, however, are allowed to practise their own faith, speak their own language, and uphold their distinctive cultural traditions. In our nation, English is still widely spoken, despite the fact that the younger generation doesn't speak it as much as we older generation did, English is still widely spoken in our country. English is still taught as a second language in our education system. Kuala Lumpur is a genuinely Asian metropolis, and Malaysia is truly Asia. You don't have to go to China to experience a taste of the country because there is a China Town close by. You don't even need to go to India because there is a Little India right here. So, come to visit Malaysia if you don’t have much time to visit the whole Asia.
@@amymin9210 - Indeed, you can definitely sense an English atmosphere there, particularly if you get the chance to stay in a few boutique hotels like The Lakehouse Cameron Highlands Resort, The Smokehouse Hotel & Restaurant Cameron Highlands, Cameron Highlands Resort, and Bala Chalet Cameron Highlands.
Fantastic. So bare and honest about Malaysia. Love the parliamentary scene when a former prime minister says, "can you speak English?" and answered by an opposition at the time, "F..... You " 🤣🤣🤣 And....ya, no RU-vidr has touched on the variety of ghosts 😂. Very original... but we're not as advanced as the Thais when it comes to ghostonology !
I was cultural shocked too when i was driving from outside Malpensa airport to Tirano. My knee cap shivers coz left hand drive, being horned on fast lane right most lane coz i was slow&steady driver and horned again when make right turn into left lane. After returning from St moritz on Bernina Express, again shivered driving to Milan 😅😢😮😂
Considering how old the forests and land of tropical countries are geographically (diverse concentrated genus of plants and animals), how stable the ecosystem throughout hundreds of years, and a constant human population density due to agriculturally stable productive support since the beginning of civilisation, the region is also a perfect place for nature’s spirits to dwell and concentrated. 🤭😂 It’s the number’s game. My 2 cents. I am not sure if this hypothesis applies to other regions near the equators, like the Amazons etc, if they have numerous ghosts folklores as well.
Hi! I cannot remember exactly which one but there's a video you made recently discussing some of the things that have shocked you culturally being in M'sia on of which s about toilet paper in public toilets. In M'sia you have two groups - one group doesn't use t and the other group uses it. The first group is the majoritycomprising of the Malays, Indians, Punjabis and many more especially those in Borneo M'sia. The other group which is the minority such as the Chinese, they do use it because it's thier culture (unless of course they're Muslim). So, with those who use it, we bring our own tissue paper whenever we go out on daily basis except when you go on a vacation where you stay at a hotel as it's normally provided. So, yes, as long as you're here and not staying ata hotel, bring your own tp! :)
When u ""get"" Malaysia, u'll never wanna live anywhere else. My family has been in this land for 3 generations, and we can still find cultural shocks lol!
I am Msian born Chinese and don’t eat spicy food - no problem at all getting non-spicy food everywhere I go, plus you can ask for less or non-spicy or chilli on the side
About the weather (sunny then suddenly you get a downpour), please do not think this is common throughout Malaysia. I notice it happens a lot in KL. Could it be because of the air pollution? Too populated (5 M ppl in KL) ? I grew up in the East Coast of this Peninsular most of my life, but now residing in Penang in the West Coast, the weather in these places is quite predictable.
@user28221 I've actually spent most of my time in JB and Melaka. We've also been in Penang a couple of times and no rain, but so hot 🥵 I hope to see even more places in the future
It depends on what dessert. For example, i order abc ice n fried kueh tiaw in cafe, but both are sent to me at the same time, of course I will eat my abc first. Who want to have melted abc mixture😅😅
I'll tell you something even scarier...in public buildings the temperature can't go below 25 😱 I think to fight energy consumption and in part because we're just not built for it 😅
When westerners know we eat with hands they be like yuck but what they dont know is that we have sinks everywhere with hand soaps for use before and after we eat.
There's no such thing as eating what first here. The only reason people tend to the main dish first is the fact that you'll be too full if you eat snacks or desserts first 😂
