Jacqui thank you so much. This is just what I needed to get the right start. The five words are Empowered, Alert, successful Motivated and encouraged. I'm working on the colors and I'm sure I'll be up and running soon. Benge watching.
It's my pleasure Lynn!! Thanks for watching. Those are some great words! I haven't heard of someone using "alert" before, but i love it!! Yew! Have fun! And if you need more support, you might enjoy my free little video series here: www.diydesignmybiz.com/SeriouslyChallenge it goes a little deeper than this video!
Hi Jacqui, I just recently found your content and it's so good! You inspire me so much! And this topic about creating my brand look and feel has been my most challenging thing so far. I have literally put it off for a year. My target audience is other female online entrepreneurs who need help with creating graphics, or with how to use apps/programs for building their biz. I'm new to canva but learning fast. I am a photoshop girl, and I do fine at creating graphics for others when they know what they want. But I struggle to come up with my own ideas from scratch. Anyways. I love bright colors. And my ideal clients are trailblazers, bold, courageous, powerful, brave and I want them to feel like they can trust me to teach them what they need to know, or to do the work for them.
So so thrilled you found me Dana!! Excited to get to know you more inside my course! It's always hard doing our own brand. Love the clarity that you have on your target audience!
Hi, I recently began following you for help with Canva. Learning how to set up Quote posts has been a BLAST! My "brand" is geared towards home crafts & business name is based on what I call my granddaughter, "Sassy Turtle" so I'm trying to gear everything around beach themes; like beachy colored backgrounds & graphics. My logo was created based on the beach. Could I also incorporate sunrise and sunset colors? My favorite color is purple. Thank you!
Sassy Turtle! Hehe so cute. Beachy sounds like a wonderful vibe. You could potentially add in sunset colours too - your best way to find out is literally to test it :) So create a graphic using the sunset colours you'd like to bring in with your current branding and see if it looks good or not - then tweak until you're happy. Sometimes we might try a bright purple and it looks bad... but then we just need to tweak it to be lighter and suddenly it works. See how you go :)
@@jacquinauntonmaam can you teach about when to use specific fonts ? Like Bodoni , Futura , Times new Roman I am unable to understand that . And also unable to find tutorials on that . Through your videos is also difficult to understand .
@@Raj-xp6fd it’s all about what your brand needs and what it’s trying to communicate. This video shares more about font choice ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GgVnMw8HTrU.htmlsi=0aEU37exxI3rULNw
This is great! And a lot of research. How do you recommend to start doing that research, where ? I mean for the target audience to niche down. Thank you Jacquie. Def following on IG.
It can be hard to get started hey! I recommend using that Canva worksheet in the description as the first thing you do. Let me know how you go with that :)
