I'd like to get max acceleration from my 2020 r3. Stock is 14/43 final gear ratio is 3.07. Was thinking about 13/45 with gear ratio of 3.46. I would still like to be able to cruise on the freeway comfortably at 90mph in case of fast traffic. I believe top speed is 110-115 as is, would you think that would be good? Or maybe just +3 in the rear? The calculators or confusing, but it says I should get plus 11.3% torque and less 11.3% top end. 11.3% of 110 (pessimistic top end) is 12.43. So, I'm thinking new top speed would be about 98mph, maybe a little more if the bike tops out higher than 110. I weigh about 150ish by the way. I hit 100 the other day easily, so I'm sure it's faster than 110.
If you increase the top end will that actually lower the RPM at the top? Right now I cruise about 8500-9k RPM on the interstate. I feel like I need my RPM’s to be lower without decreasing speed. 2020 R6.
