I’ve been waiting on this one! He was never really stunted. He can tour year round and sell out every show, in Texas alone. He is a legend in the south! And still dropping fire
Zro is a legend regardless of being mainstream..... he's an underground king who's respected by his pairs and fanbase....keep doing your thing king we appreciate you 🎉
Meet some "Texas boy's" in the military and they introduced me to the Texas music culture.. being from FL i listened to "slowed down" music .."Chopped and Screwed" 🤯🤯🤯 Z-ro up there with Scarface...imo
I'm from Dallas, TX u don't have to be mainstream in Texas to have a successful rap career! He still rich! Like Nipsey Hussle had the west coast before he signed a deal
Z-Ro was (and still is) dope. Like you said, he's comfortable in his own lane. As long as he got his core fanbase, he's fine. He doesn't do it for the gold and the platinum, nor the fame. He does if for him and his fans. You gotta do a feature on Devin The Dude next
Shid S.G we gona always bang Rother in Texas. I'm 43 but I got 22yr olds in my hood that listens to him faithfully. Shid my dad 71 abd that's his favorite artist. I believe he good with his core audience 💯
I'm from Houston, Trae and his guys jumped him and folks in the city don't really respect Trae like that anymore, folks call him Trae Tha Lie because he lied about what happened
Bro the ghetto gospel is fire front to back. I’m one of the few who prefers ROs newer stuff, but still know damn near all of his older music word for word. The goat
He has two different mainstream eras. His 04-05 era & his Crack & Cocaine ers (08-09). Z-Ro's catalog is extensive & he is a underrated, underground legend. Fk the mainstream. I appreciate Ro sm dawg
I got divorced in 2020 and still dedicate, I Hate You Bitch to my ex. Z-Ro is a true underground legend. One rung below dudes like Scarface, Devin, 3/6, UGK, 8Ball & MJG, etc. You have to be a legend to even be mentioned with those names.
Homie I'm so glad you did one on Ro. Of course I'm from Beaumont(where Finesse and BG was on lock) so I love when Texas's 2nd most underrated emcee(K Rino bein' the first)get some shine on a platform as influential as yours? Good shyt homie, good shyt!!!!
When stationed at Texas in army I went into a random club venue in Killeen and he just happened to be performing. He’s a hell of a performer. Great stage presence.
I mess with Z-ro. It’s this one underrated song he got that I still listen to till this day. “ One Night” featuring trae the truth. That’s my favorite song by Z-ro
You need to delete this one, aint none stunted about Zro Stunted is for ppl who BLEW UP & FELL OFF. Not someone who been on & rather not go mainstream.
"Ghetto Gospel" Is The Lastest Banger ?..Eas"T"exas Respect 2 the K.O.T.G 1 OF THE MO$T UNDERRATED 2 EVA DO IT ALSO ...REST N PEACE 2 ALL THE SCREWED UP CLICK LEGENDS 'GON ON 2 GLORY & 2 THE 1s Still Doin It 4 THE 3RD COAST " KEEP BANGIN".
He's a prominent rapper in Texas; didn't really need mainstream success. State landscape is enough to thrive off off (DFW, Waco, H-Town, Galveston, etc..).
you should do sean price, and discuss the failure of the fab 5, and how rock going major label, forced sean p back to the underground... where he reigned supreme until his passing.
You got the Trae situation messed up cause NOBODY I mean nobody lost respect for Ro but it did hurt Trae cause he got caught lying about the situation when going to the point to leak that edited clip of Ro on the ground. I do agree Ro was ahead of his time but he's a Legend.
Only time Z-Ro Tight is when he featured on somebody else song, an for him to be a thug what he did in that Trea the truth situation was a violation on Z-Ro part
Men ro is rich he ain't worried at of all the rappers in Houston he got 1 the biggest houses 🏘️ he don't need to be mainstream to get rich trust me ro eating.
Z-Ro is still my favorite rapper of all time even before Pac n Big cuz i was kid when they passed. I grew up with Ro literally since 2000 in the 4th grade. Im 33 now and he still been keeping it Trill. He is one of the underrated GOATS in Hip-Hop Rap
Zro that dude like Devin...yo, could you cover Devin the Dude? Thanks for the work...(I don't need no help my ni.... I can do bad on my own. That song got me through some times. Salute toTraetheTruth too.)Peace.
Now this is a stunted growth, because he never changed his rapping style he’s always saying someone hating on him and he’s depressed all the time that is crazy
"On the grind, I'ma take a trip on Greyhound I be flying on a plane, but the dope is on the ground Headed to Lake Charles, or headed to Lafayette Maybe off in Alexandria, but I ain't finished yet"- Z Ro
Peace to The S.U.C "Trying to get paper pull another capper Man my house is suave something like Tony Drapper Got to get my mill from my record sell This time last year I was in a jail cell Waiting for commissary waiting on mail call Man I can't wait till I get free cause I'm a ball"-Zero
I’ve been a fan of Z-Ro since my younger years. He is one of the dopest rappers I’ve listen to. He is a Houston legend who deserves a lot of respect and appreciation for his work. He is also known as The Mo City Don. His unique style and powerful lyrics made him as one of the most underrated rappers of all-time. He is respected by his peers and fans alike. He is very lowkey and doesn’t need to be mainstream to be successful. I have always enjoyed his music, so I can still sell out shows and concerts. He is comfortable in his own lane. I will always have his music on repeat and listen to it over and over. We knew he had issues with Trae Tha Truth. I have listened to all of his music since day one. What is your favorite Z-Ro album?
I didn't know the issues with Trae was gonna be that serious, to think both Trae & Z-ro were part of Guerilla Maab with Dougie D, but Dougie had legal issues & the 3 couldn't do more stuff together as a trio. I am in the dark on the events that led to the alteraction
@@elguero281I remember when they were a part of Guerilla Maab with Dougie D. I don’t know if Dougie D is still doing bid time in prison. I hope someday they will get back together. Z-Ro is still making consistent music every year and Trae is doing his thang too; eventhough, he is a sellout now. Trae is working with trash rappers now and his newer music isn’t really that good. I don’t think Z-Ro ever had a bad album. I remember a time when radio stations didn’t wanna play Trae Tha Truth music; if any DJs played his music, they were fired. I feel that’s the stupid thing I ever heard in my entire life.
I paused before I wrote this but still gonna watch. But anytime you mention a Texas legend that seems like there were stunted because they weren’t bigger than what they could be, you have to realize. Almost all Texas rappers from that era Z-Ro, Tre Da Truth, Slim Thig, Lil Flip, Chamillionaire, ESG, Pokey, Hawk and many more were content on one thing. None of them care about blowing up outside of TX because TX can sustain its own so blowing up there was equal to blowing up nationwide. Hence why they separated themselves and called themselves the 3rd coast. The infrastructure in that state alone made them millionaire la without even selling outside of Texas. Which also kinda became the downfall of the Texas wave the minute they went mainstream because they weren’t pressing the issue with working with a lot of outsiders 🤷🏾♂️
For me he's forever (until he fell off by quality in 2012) is a world legend and fantastic musician by all genres! Tupac and Nate Dogg in the one bottle.
Z-Ro never wanted to go Mainstream and produce his music and got fans from everywhere and never fell off. The man just dropped another album. This was 11:13 of trash 🗑️.
This post done brought all of z-ro’s as you said target audience out lol. Outside of mainly Texas and the south . Outside the south doesn’t have the same buzz. But z-to made a strong push to be mainstream around 2005 , when he made get throwed with bun b. And he looks just like Soulja slim at 5:38😂😂.
Hey man, can you please do a video on JLO. It seems like she was trying to make a comeback with her album “This Is Me Now” and it hasn’t been doing too well. And I knew that it wasn’t going to be doing well for her
