Has one of the, if not the most, iconic passing highlight in the history of the sport. Also had an important part in that Heat championship run. I doubt he would have ever been a superstar even if he wasn't stunted, so it's not fair to say that he failed to reach his potential, although it would have been amazing to see what his full potential could have been like. Despite everything that held him back, White Chocolate had a very good career. Definately one of my favorite players to watch.

I will forever LOVE AND HATE that elbow pass because on one end, it's most skilled creative pass I've ever seen. On the other end I have to sit through young guy after young at that park (I'll lightly help out or train them) trying to show me they can do that pass. They've all seen it, I don't ask for it, but they insist on showing me it's in their repertoire like they're gonna use it. Lol and they never fail to fail, after three times I'm always like "STOP IT, I'M TIRED OF SEEING THE BALL GO ALL OVER THE PLACE. THAT WASN"T EVEN CLOSE!". Salute to you for doing this, salute to Williams for his mastery of insane moves and passes.

Cats would be trying to imitate that elbow pass or his fake pass, hop, dribble pull up. He was cold! He was the epitome of all flash no substance for awhile then he got his stuff together then went and won himself a chip! Something Stockton, the epitome or substance over style, never did. No diss to Stock he's IMO the greatest pure point to play the game, Magic is the greatest overall.

JASON WILLIAMS is one of the main reasons that D Wade and the Miami heat won their 1st championship. Because he freed up Wade for having to give them aging teammates the ball and he was able to carry the team down the stretch with J Williams filtering the offense and load managing Wade from guarding PGs consistently. White Chocolate matured and had a stellar career with his stunning flare and showmanship he spiced up the NBA just after Jordans retirement and my Favorite vanExcel was slowing down and Vince Carter ,TMac and Kobe were the above the rim Faces of the League that represented the Air a parent.

Man this guy wasn’t stunted, he performed and got a ring. Didn’t always have the best team in Sacramento

What? Sacramento improved by getting rid of him. 9/10 he was the issue stunting the growth of his teams. He got a ring because he had Shaq and Wade. The ball was not in his hands for the most part.

From the time he got to the Kings to the time he left they improved substantially. True they won a few more games and made a good playoff run when they added Bibby, but they were in good standing when he left out. Checkout Grizzlies records before and after he got there. guess we interpret stunted growth differently, to start on a championship team especially that age, he had to be doing something right. I guess some folks feel that he had even more to give, and I do wonder if he blended the flashy play with simple high IQ plays if he would’ve been even more successful. Just don’t think he was stunted in my opinion. Understand if you don’t see it the same, just have to agree to disagree

Nothing stunted his growth. He did better than most. Also had the respect of his peers
