That sentiment respectfully shows that you're not fully capable of understanding what it means to be the first to do something dangerous that can kill you. It's a rush, and a feeling of being more alive than you ever would otherwise. It's a maddening high, seeing a forbidden place that would kill any other human, and has killed others before you who sought that same treasure.
It's precisely because we have people like Steven Fisher's that humanity has been able to explore and conquer not just our own planet but even into outer space. You think the highest summits of the Himalaya's or the bottom of the Challenger deep would ever have been reached otherwise?
@@Tooflower It's all fun and games till something goes wrong and you are in a literal living nightmare. If he fell out of that kayak, he would die a terrifying painful death. I respect his courage but doing extremely dangerous things like kayaking the congo, there is not only some of the scariest rapids ever but is also full of crocodiles and other dangerous creatures, no offense but it's just a stupid idea whether he survives it or no. Someone is bound to do it and succeed but that does not make them smart for doing something so dangerous and dumb.
It's a death wish with prep too. Going through rapids like these with Crocs and other ferocious creatures lying in the depths is so unpredictable no matter how prepared you think you are. It's all comes down to your skill and a lot of luck.
The gorge below the falls leading into the whirlpool has been run several times, though not legally since the late 70s. Homeland Security and the park pigs make it hard, but it can still be done if you're not afraid of getting arrested, which, well I'm sure you get why thats funny.
@@Tooflower "Park Pigs". Wow they're so terrible and are worth being called pigs because they're trying to keep people from doing something stupid and killing themselves. Lol.
