Thai passport is stronger than Indian passport and Thailand has a smaller population ofcourse. Say what you want about them, their public streets are hundred times cleaner and more organised than Indian streets. Indian cities cannot compete with their cities in terms of cleanliness

If India truly is the best country, why are so many Indian parent scrambling to send their kids to college in the west? Why are so many Indians trying to immigrate to western countries? India is not the best country. Indians generally are a friendly nice bunch of people and the food is bomb but civic cense is severely lacking (dirty roads, lack of manners for instance when queuing and in relation to women safety). India has its flaws and hygiene is number 1 issue ( as an Indian who has travelled extensively)
@Kitler684 I've been to bangalore many times including just this January. Bangkok is a better city than Bangalore. Both have crazy traffic but Bangkok has better infrastructure and cleanliness

Finally found a sensible Thai comment. Both india & Thailand have their own strengths and weaknesses but being indian it just pisses me off when people generalise whole country just bcoz they visited few cities. Indians also get sensitive over this, bcoz many foreigners here come to sooth their ego by visiting slums & taking pictures of people without permission. They don't visit developed areas filled with nature , beauty, our islands, deserts, snow mountains, lakes etc. It's so shameful!

Recently I visited Thailand with my friends... Their food and tradition was ok ok but their steets were very polluted... Also there were a lot of lady boys and gay. Sometimes I freaked out because I didn't know whether I should call them HIS or HER... Really most of thai foods didn't even suit my test. I was waiting for my way back there😢😢

Thailand has become racist in the last 10 years , I went to Thailand in 2014, and I thought they were the most friendly people, I don't know what happend now ? I was a child of 14 or 15 years and I even touched and played with Thailand babies, but I don't think it is possible now.

I am Thai, i love India for many reasons. First, Indian is the main culture that make Thai have believe and Thai culture like nowadays. Also, India is a powerful country in the world such as economic, military, movies and blablabla. The third, i think Indian people very nice and cute cause i had work relate tourist before. These three reason is a few reasons why i love Indian. That man who said dirty, i think he don’t know Indian have modern zone and poor zone same as Thailand.
As an Indian who once worked in Phuket, I found Thai people are very religious, aware about own culture, modern, enough educated to talk foreigners, respectful and respected, fond of Asian culture, traditional, respect western society and friendly towards tourists! Phuket was like for me among the local non residencial Indians, I was in my another home! 🙏
Ah, I'm glad I read the comments. The first dude is ignorant but not entirely wrong. I went to India for a trip and visited Mumbai. The food was fucking amazing and surprisingly I did not get any food poisoning even though I frequented some streetfood vendors but I did feel like the streets were generally very crowded and dirty in some parts and people stared at me alot but perhaps because I look very 'Asian'. Don't get me wrong, Thailand is definitely not clean but I can confidently say it was cleaner than some of the places I went to in Mumbai but what do we expect. It's a country with 1.4 billion, there are gonna be some people who are selfish and don't clean up after themselves. The Indian people are talked to were super kind and helpful in describing the food I ate and your culture is so unique so please cherish it and love your country.
Also, for those Indians or anyone offended and firing back with insults regarding prostitutions as such. You are not doing yourself any favours, prostitution exists in every country but some countries are more open and honest about it. Some parts of India ARE dirty, there's no denying that, but understand that stereotypes exist just like you guys have stereotypes of other countries, some are good, some are bad and although they always have some truth to them, they definitely don't represent the majority. It is not something Thais are proud of but it is the reality and no one will deny it ~ many poor, young girls will come from the countryside as well as neighbouring countries and are trafficked or voluntarily join this industry to make some easy money to support their families back home or sometimes just to live a more lavish life in Bangkok. It is a terrible grey area and I wish the government would put great emphasis on this industry and regulate it as much as possible. Denying it and turning a blind eye is not an answer but sadly I do not know if this new government will tackle this issue since people much prefer to ignore the problems than deal with them head on.

Sick and tired of hearing same stereotypes in almost every video about India. Do these people spend any time educating themselves? Indians are so much aware when it comes to geopolitics and culture of other countries but foreigners always exhibit lack of awareness and hate towards India. I accept the fact that not all of India is CLEAN but that DOESN’T mean all of India is DIRTY. Certain cities and within those cities, certain pockets may be dirty but what makes them brand the entire country as dirty? We’re the most populated country, invaded twice, on our way to become the 3rd largest economy. There’s so much more to talk about India- economy, tourism, culture, yoga, IT, space sector..but all they could answer is Taj Mahal and dirty. Aren’t some of the streets in America dirty? No slums, dirt in Thailand? Is it genuinely lack of awareness and interest or racism coz Indians are generally dark-skinned? They end up making a fool of themselves by repeating age-old answers in the era of Social Media.
I met a Thai man last year in Delhi and he was very sweet and it didn’t look like he had a negative image of India. These guys are a small portion of the population who know nothing about us we shouldn’t stoop to their level and talk bs like they do.

Not all India is dirty, but if you zoom at the richest and largest city Mumbai, then 70% of its streets are filthy,dirty,chaotic, polluted air(smell of animal/human wastes),more than 1 million people live in slum extreme poverty. While the capital city Bangkok In Thailand, maybe there are only 10% streets are considered dirty, the air is much cleaner, no animal waste on the streets, only few thousands Thais live in extreme poor slum…thats is huge differences since Thailand is also developing third world country.

As an Indian I can say that some places in India are really dirty but not everywhere. The guy may be don't know properly. Also, some places in Thailand are dirty too . Im not hating anyone and just being honest... But when i travelled to Thailand last year i only ate veg food that too in McDonald's.. because the food streets used to smell so much.. it nearly made me puke. I dont prefer eating non veg in the food street of Thailand..
