Anyone who has been on Facebook, RU-vid, TikTok, Instagram, Snap, Twitter or any other social media platform can tell you that people don't act the same often times like they would in real life.
Nobody was calling people a troll in real life twenty years ago. Why? Because you'd probably get attacked or booed by a crowd of people for some of the terrible things people will choose to write but would never say to your face.
So what does the Bible say about social media that we Christians can learn from?
Jesus wasn't walking around taking selfies in crowds or streaming the sermon on the mount live, but that doesn't mean there isn't timeless wisdom that we as Christians, and human beings, can't take to heart when engaging with people online.
