IF you're buying a new build home, you'll need to know what a "blue-tape walkthrough" is. This is one of the MOST important steps in the homebuying process. This is the day you get to identify every single flaw with literal painters blue tape. The builder will work on getting all these deficiencies repaired before closing. You'll want to make sure all the MAJOR repairs are done before you sign off; otherwise, you may be left waiting after COE to get those items fixed.
