We head to Chattanooga and visit the Racoon Mountain Caverns and the Chattanooga Aquarium. Thank you for watching! If you would like to support the channel more you can become a patron at / sailingdoodles
Stephanie has the most beautiful smile. Reminds me of my wife. When she smiles the world lights up, especially when she smiles at me. You seem to light things up around you when you smile…contagious sort of smile. Just makes one want to smile back.
I’ve got 1.5 million miles behind me driving a semi around the USA and Canada. There are so many places that I’ve always wanted to stop but never could. A recent Heart attack and bypass surgery has realigned my priorities in life. Sold my equipment, shut down my business, left some other baggage behind and am now working on doing exactly what you two are doing here. Always inspiring Bobby. I enjoyed living on the road. It was the hustling freight that was a drag. Anyway….safe travels, you two.
Stephanie has grown on me severly...it is tough to be one of the newer crew and make her own waves but she seems so sweet and kind.......I heard that Bobby.........Steph just flows!!!!!!!
I'm so glad that Stephanie decided to spend some time with you Bobby. I've only seen her yell at you a few times. Like on the boat with you blowing the horn.
We love Chattanooga, we always camp at Cloudland Canyon State Park West Rim campground. We always go hand gliding from Lookout Mountain, such a gorgeous view from the air. Stephanie is a keeper, a man would be foolish to let her go....
Hi! I use to be a volunteer visitor guide! The reason the alligators had those colored caps on their nails was help identify them from each other. The fish in the photo is a paddlefish and they can be found in Nickajack. What they were doing was actually filter feeding. A fun fact about them is that if you get the right angle, you can actually see right through their filters. I recognize some of the animals, such as the sturgeon that I’d look forward to seeing every shift. I haven’t been back since COVID so it’s nice to see that all the animals are well and that the younger ones have gotten noticeably larger.
I like the way you didn't edit out your mistake with the gray water. I've done that LOL. People will remember it better when you show the raw mistakes. Thanks Bobby.
Looks like you could have easily had a meet up. Central and beautiful location for Southeastern fans of Flying, Sailing, and Glamping Doodles to meet. Riverboat would be a perfect venue for a dinner and social cruise.
We love living in the Chattanooga area. Membership in the aquarium (plus IMAX) provides for many enjoyable visits. Should have gone to Ruby Falls; it is fantastic.
16:53 Here in Brazil we called this fish Pirarucu, this fish is from North of Brazil, in the Amazon River basin, the maximum weight ever recorded is 330Kg(727lbs) .
I lived in Chattanooga for 23 yrs. Never went to the aquarium. Racoon Mt. was a cool place. At one time it had a go cart track and an arcade. The best thing was the alpine slide, which are all gone now
I had the privilege to meet you and Laura at OSH '19, I believe it was, at your meet-up in the north 40 cantina. If you ever get back to Chattanooga, feel free to reach out. We would love to be your driver for a day or two and show you some of the newer sights in the area.
If you’re ever in the Atlanta Georgia area go to the Georgia aquarium, I think that would be some really great content for your channel and the food scene around the Atlanta and metro area is absolutely amazing so there would be no shortage of places to go to create a great video for your Glamping Doodles channel.😉😋😎☺🤙
Bobby, when your done with the RV.. Trade it for a small trawler and do the "Great Loop".. Chattanooga/Tennessee River is a 3 day side trip off the loop.. I'm sure you've heard of it.. It's like a year long trip if you hit most of the great stops, 6000 miles around.. There are hundreds of stops/towns that have amazing culture & great content that no one is actually showing like you do in all your videos.. Just a thought..
Thank you Mr. Bobby and Stephanie for showcasing places that I have not visited like that specific aquarium, very interesting. Obviously you're traveling with good company, that lady is quality...not risqué.....just enough to keep me entertained and not turned off from over the top outlandishness. As I said before, she's the perfect family show host.
As someone not from Chatt but have been living here for 3 and a 1/2 years I absolutely love it! It's such a fucking awesome outdoorsy and hiking heavy town, not to mention the people here feel.. happy, and not depressed to live here. If anyone is looking for a good introduction to the south come to Chattanooga!!
Love your videos both RV and Boat. Suggestion on emptying tanks. Pull gray 1st for about a gallon, close then pull black tank, then flush with the rest of the grey. This way if something is not right with the hookup the mess is grey water not black.
I was surprised to see a shark in the seawater tank. I thought i read somewhere that sharks don't usually survive in captivity (like an aquarium). The Monterey aquarium has never been able to keep great whites for very long.
I don’t know what the set up is between Bobby and Stephanie, that’s their business! But she’s very attractive, has a lovely smile and great company plus on top Of all that she loves animals so has a caring heart. She is what many men would dream of as being the ideal travelling companion. Never ever let her go Bobby. But am sure you don’t need my advice your a clever guy
So cool to see where we just visited. We were in Chattanooga the week after Christmas. It'd been cool to meet you.. maybe one day our paths will cross.
Are you going to get up to western South Dakota this summer? A big Cave, buffalo, plenty of wineries, breweries, you might see a motorcycle or two. You can even do a bit of off-roading there.
I think all your videos on all your channels are awesome 👏 was wondering if you had covered Americas largest aquarium before? Can’t remember.. in Georgia.. happy travels… darn it Chattanoga only and hour and a half away from me … that aquarium is very nice also … would of come said hi to you lol 😆… rock on Bobby 😂👍
Great show.... suggestion ... get some of those stick on hooks frome lowes or Home Depot and a short piece of rope or short bungee cord to hold up the hatches while working in the compartments . It helps a lot
Im kinda jealous now my mom's family is between Cleveland and the state line so there was many many trips I saw rock city and Ruby falls like 40 yrs ago as much as I can remember it was about the same I think it's beautiful country outside the city ocoee river road to duck town and copper hill is a pretty good drive the fish was a spoon bill catfish they get to be monsters hope you're enjoying your trip
We have a local dive location that has paddlefish and I have pictures of them in there. The look fairly wild like in your video when they are feeding but not as weird when their mouth is closed
Hey Bobby a friend of mine told me about a toilet chemical called Unique black tank digester. This stuff eats all the solids and liquefies them. It cut my black water tank rinsing by 75% it is the best I have found in over 30 yrs. Might check it out Amazon has it.
We went to the aquarium when it first opened when I was like 3 and apparently as my dad was holding me over his shoulder I pulled the nice red fire alarm 😬
Nice.........Next time you are in Georgia go to The Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta. It's the largest in the USA and even has whale sharks. You could also visit Stone Mountain and stay in the RV Park there.
