What me and most people are finding weird isn't the fact that she isn't having any public appearances (because she could very well be recovering), but the fact that they keep pretende that the photos are new. All they had to do was explain that that mother's day picture is not recent because she is still recovering and not in a state where she is comfortable to be in front a camera posing for pictures. That's all. But no, they decided to photoshop it to make it look like it is a new photo. Same for the photo in the car, they didn't jave to post it.
What they should've said to begin with is: "The Princess of Wales is still recovering from sugery and we would appreciate giving her ample privacy during this time, but rest assured she is making great progress, and because we care considerbaly for her wellbeing we don't want to put pressure on her to rush back into the public eye, thank you for your patience, all of your kindness and well wishes." And no fake photos whatsoever!! But instead they come off as shady trying to cover something up!!

They did do this. Every news agency in America reported that she was having a major abdominal surgery that would require several weeks of healing and had to cancel all of her Royal engagements until Easter. Several people may not be looking at their local or world news coverage but that’s not the same as no one reporting it. The conspiracies started before this photo. Several conspiracies were started by people obviously making jokes and trying to stir up drama but then actual theorists got involved. I think a hasty photo was released to try to calm some of the conspiracies and baseless claims. It didn’t go well. I have to agree with some saying it looks like a few different shots were put together most likely because someone had their eyes closed or was looking away in a majority of pics.

I do watch my local and world news when I’m working and saw several stories weeks ago about Kate going in for a surgery that would have a lengthy recovery. When considering she had to cancel engagements she had already made i think it’s safe to say the surgery was initially unexpected/unplanned. I have seen several people that keep up with RF news saying that she’s had a history of stomach issues. According to some there is also a possibility that it was related to a hysterectomy. Most people plan theirs but there are situations where it needs to be done sooner rather than later. If that is the case I fully understand why she would not want the reason spread far and wide on the news. She’s got a right to some privacy about surgery anyway.

For everyone saying you can’t photoshop lighting and colors: As someone who’s a graphic designer and has repaired and altered old photos - in addition to being certified in photoshop: it’s absolutely possible to change lighting and recolor or objects convincingly in photoshop. There are tools specifically for lighting engines and you can hand paint brights and shadows. I’m thinking multiple editors have to have worked on these photos because the skill needed to alter her face is beyond the mistakes of the clothing

Instead of needing to painstakingly cut, fill, paint, and adjust- you can select an area, type your prompt, and you’ll get a pretty decent result that can be tweaked to look really good. If I were to assume the ai areas, I’d probably say the recolors, the hands specifically (for some reason a lot of the generative fill when it comes to skin is quite blurry in my experience), and maybe even the face because the lighting is a little too perfect compared to the technical skill of the rest of the photo (though people can do some wild lighting stuff with Camera RAW) All in all, if you want to inspect photos you think may be photoshop- here are some less obvious things to look for: - warped perspective/forms within stationary patterns and surfaces + mistakes/breaks in repeating textures (this is the result of patching, clone stamping, blending, or cropping two sections of a photoshop together) - Examine the edges of subjects, especially of people. Lenses will often focus on the most prominent area of the body and in lots of pictures the face and torso will be crisp, leaving elbows, legs, or other parts edges further from the camera- slightly blurred or feathered. Is anything a little too crisp? Maybe it wasn’t there originally - Like Haley pointed out- hair can be a big tell, the average user will use quick mask, if they’re more skilled they’d use feathering settings which make hair very convincing once pasted- in which case you’d consult the prior paragraph to inspect mistakes They’re probably just doing a bad job of keeping her life private- but on the bright side if this is the root of something sinister- they’re doing a terrible job at covering themselves up with digital alibis

The problem with the privacy argument falls flat on its face when Kensington Palace is on "amateur hour". Kate does not have fans. People just disliked H&M. I honestly believe that Kate’s surgery was just more serious than they let on and instead of being transparent they’ve taken the approach of just making things a lot worse. Like either you ignore the rumors or you tell the truth. This is exactly why the RF under Elizabeth II had the policy of ignoring media speculation and rumors.
This is not happening due to the surgery. I’m nearly convinced Catherine either had a horrible post op infection-nosocomial/hospital acquired. The hospital she was in has a very high rate of these infections. Another strong possibility is also a potential complication to surgery-stroke. UPDATE(from a video she posted) she went to get an abdominal surgery on a few places the doctors thought were non cancerous.. and it turns out they were cancerous. She has to go through chemotherapy…. Idk y they didn’t just say she was in the midst of battling stomach cancer and needed space and privacy. These people have the best healthcare. They aren't using the NHS. The NHS would have you out on the streets the day after your major surgery but these people use private healthcare. They get the luxury of staying until they fully recovered.

Trying to process that she is sick.This is why she went silent. I pray for her healing and wellbeing. If she is recovering from surgery and not expected to be seen in public until after Easter, why are they both dressed as if they are going somewhere that would require that attire? Why would she even be wearing a hat? What is William in a suit jacket? Wouldn’t a “recovery” non formal engagement event photo have casual clothes? The picture of “her” in the car looks nothing like Kate. I noticed immediately. The face shape is all wrong. The chin, cheek bones, forehead, lips, hair… my first thought- that is not Kate. It's likely the "planned surgery" was a full hysterectomy which requires immense recovery. There are numerous reason she may have needed this surgery from persistent but non life threatening medical concerns all the way up to preventing future cancer risks and removal of existing cancer. Catherine often removes her wedding ring and wears other or no jewelry it doesn't mean anything that she's not wearing it. Anyone who ever tried to take a photo with three young children knows exactly why Photoshop and moms go hand in hand. 😂😂 Edit: Update; Not to say I told you so but I did. Full surgical hysterectomy to remove cancer. Sometimes the most obvious conclusion is the truth.
Actually nowadays a hysterectomy is like a day surgery. My husband's ex-wife is getting one and she's coming home the same damn day and even if it wasn't the same day procedure the most you stay in the hospital is 2 to 3 days period unless something horrible happens. However what about the ambulance in December?

Being that Catherine is the future Queen of England, a future that looks to come sooner rather than later it is no surprise that the royal physicians would employ an abundance of caution in her recovery from major surgery.
@nikkidarkangelpnope8400 it's very unlikely . Most women get a laparoscopic hysterectomy which is Same Day Surgery. For an abdominal hysterectomy most women go home 2-3 days after this surgery, but complete recovery takes from six to eight weeks.

As a OR nurse and person that had a total hysterectomy the full recovery is 6 weeks. Hospital stay is 2-4 days if it was a lap vs open and barring no complications. I was not on bedrest for the total 6 weeks. I definitely could have taken a decent looking photo in a few weeks especially if I was in good shape as she was prior to surgery. What gave it away for me was that she was wearing jeans in the snap. You really don’t feel like wearing jeans after abdominal surgery.
I think so too. An open hysterectomy. My mom had one in her early forties after years of severe endometriosis. Back then they didn’t have laparoscopy. The hospitalization was about a week, then she was on bed rest for three or four weeks. It took a few months before she was fully healed. If Kate had a lot of endometrial lesions and adhesions, they could have done an open hysterectomy to deal with all of those. I remember my mom’s recovery was really difficult, and if that’s what Kate’s going through I hate that this is going on while she’s in pain and can barely move.

@@astral_bumblebee Thanks! This was a long time ago. She had the bad luck to need abdominal surgery before they had laparoscopy. Her gall bladder surgery a few years later was another rough one. Surgery has advanced so much since then.
@@CatMom-uw9jl This seems like the most plausible theory to me. My mom also had a hysterectomy back in the early 2000s when I was a kid. She was only in her mid thirties then, but she had super bad endometriosis and had to have it done. It took her months to recover. Hopefully things have changed in the last 20 years and the surgery is less invasive than before, but who knows? Maybe Kate had complications as well. Whatever it is, Kate is entitled to her privacy and the RF needs to hire a new PR team.

In addition to William cancelling 45 minutes before the Memorial service, many of the royal families of Europe had made the effort to be in attendance, and King Charles was missing, and the church service was just a short walk away from where William was at the time.
As someone who does follow the Royal Family (as well as the other European Royal families) I just find this topic to have blown up out of proportion. Kate and William have an understandable strained relationship with the media, so if you see anything that did not originate from their social media, you have to take it with a grain of salt. Here’s some thoughts on this by someone more familiar with the events as they unfolded (with absolutely no hate intended to you or the family 😅) - people were somehow more shocked that William didn’t go to King Constantine’s memorial service, than they were when he (and the majority of the BRF) did not attend his funeral. That was strange considering the closeness of the two families… - The paparazzi were starving for a picture of Kate. They see Kate’s mother and assume it’s Kate next to her. Who is it? It’s Kate’s sister Pippa. - They most likely uploaded an older picture. Might seem suspicious at first glance, but they do this constantly. A few years ago their Christmas card was a picture of the family from their trip to Jordan. Also as many people have already pointed out, it’s a picture of a mother with three kids, of course it will be edited together to show the best angles. If they were trying to hide something, we wouldn’t know about it, because they definitely have the resources to do so… - People don’t always wear their wedding rings, especially if they are meant to be recovering from surgery. Also the picture you mentioned from last year, same situation- they took multiple pictures and used it for the Christmas card - Kate is known for her photography, she’s the one taking pictures of all the kids - so, yes I think she would photoshop it, especially if she had more time on her hands.. - Like I said, the Royal Family isn’t responsible for the grainy pictures, that’s the paparazzi, who Willam might not be that enthusiastic about… They went to a doctors appointment. William went to the Commonwealth service. If the picture is from Christmas ( interesting how they don’t look into the dates of pictures not from the BRF) it would have been because whoever took that picture wanted to monetize it and sell it as „seeing Kate” When it comes to responses, There’s almost no reason they would speak up about something ever. It’s the late Queens policy - Never complain, never explain. Honestly, we have Easter just around the corner. If we wait just a bit more, she will be there. Is it frustrating? Absolutely, but all this has gone too far in so many ways. I’m surprised no one is having Diana flashbacks… Kate has been in the public eye for over 20 years now, and yet when she asked for three months to recover, people couldn’t even give her that

I just caught something else weird. There are no reflections of them in the windows. There are reflections of the trees across the street. From that angle- wouldn’t reflections of their backs be in the picture? And notice the color of the trees in the reflection. They are brown- fall. Not green- spring. And why are they wearing fall clothes, sweaters, jackets, and boots. Look at last year’s Mother’s Day picture. Completely different seasonal attire. The tree to the left of Prince George’s head- no leaves. Definitely not spring.
Nah, they have been very clear about that but somehow people outside of Europe didn't get the message. The poor woman has been in the hospital. Obviously she doesn't want people to know what she had, but if you have 3 kids, you can imagine what sort of abdominal surgery a woman at her age will need. It's not a mystery, she is just a normal woman. Let's just allow her to heal, as it's not easy and it takes a while. Edited for grammar reasons
It’s the photoshopped photos and usage of stunt doubles that makes things really bizarre, like when Kate delivered a baby, she was outside and greeting the public mere hours after giving birth! Now she can’t even post a photo of herself at home with her kids? It’s very suspicious.
As an English person I can confirm that this is very unusual from our monarchy. With personal matters we are used to only hearing the basics out of respect for privacy (unless they choose to say more), but things aren't normally this sketchy. I do feel bad for William though. He's just become Prince of Wales and now his father has cancer and something is wrong with his wife (who he relies on for a lot of support). He could very well end up being King soon with three young children to raise and potentially no parents or wife to help.
I don't feel one bit bad for William. Elderly people in the UK have to decide whether to heat their homes or eat. The average Brit can wait YEARS for surgeries like hip or knee replacement by the NHS. Open borders has caused a huge inflex of foreigners who either undercut labor prices or commit crimes all through the UK. They don't have the luxury of free, gated palaces with an army of guards.
@@AFAskygoddess I meant in terms of potentially having to become monarch, where everything you do is criticised and there is never a day off, without any parental or possibly spouse support, plus raising 3 young children. It would be a very difficult situation.
I'm not a RF follower at all (just a follower of this channel) but the first thing that came to mind is that she had a major procedure like a hysterectomy and they don't want to talk about it, so instead while she recovers they are pretending she's fine and making a huge deal out of it. That procedure could take months of recovery but I could potentially see why they wouldn't want to release the name of the procedure to the public. A public that is possibly old fashioned in their thinking. Just a thought.
They don't need to ever discuss it. But releasing doctored images when there are grave rumors about her makes them look suspicious and has seriously damaged their credibility.
You know what's strange, is that at 10:45 it says "SoftwareAgent>Adobe Photoshop23.5 (Macintosh)" But Photoshop 23.5 is Photoshop 2022. And Photoshop got AI Integration in 2023. So how could this be AI Edited if it's using a previous version of Photoshop?
