And this is just one of the many reasons to not buy fast fashion, my friends... -- FOLLOW ME: instagram: halohayleys tiktok: halohayley -- Thanks for watching!
I mean, there are people on "handmade" craft sites like Etsy pawning off made in china items as items the seller hand made.. wouldn't be suprised if these little online shops were trying to get a quick buck by reselling shein...
Gurl...... The vial of HUMAN blood and the NEEDLE found in that customer's bag along with the SPIDER EGG and MOLD genuinely made me want to throw up. How a company can be so careless with shipping their products, IDK.
My question is HOW did HUMAN BLOOD and a NEEDLE get mixed in with a damn SHEIN ORDER??? I’m guessing there was a mix up at the holding facility once the order made it overseas.
the workers come from low-income and not sure about their level of education, would they know English? and would they know informal speech like "gonna"? I'm highly suspicious of that note being real, the children Chinese textbook and notes in Chinese looked real but not this one
@@FruityHachi I don't know about the real-ness of the chinese textbook or notebook, but I agree with the papers potentially being fake. It's just as possible that the person purchased some of these used books in some random shop or flea market. Someone might've decided to sell some used items like that, and then she placed these books over the Shein bag. It could easily be faked too. That's why I feel like some of these people need to just do SHEIN hauls, like those dark web box openings that used to be a trend a few years ago, just to see if it's gonna be weird, creepy, or otherwise.
@@PorcupineTheOneandOnly that might be possible too but I didn't want to sound too distrustful and accused of siding with shein the other thing that didn't seem right to me was also that clump of blonde hair, since I assume the clothes are made in Asia and women there have dark hair not blonde that blonde hair could have been synthetic from some doll
"Guys, be careful when ordering from Shein" uhhhhh how about just don't order from Shein?????? Like their shit quality and working conditions are so public that there's literally no excuse
Like yeah I understand that you don’t have enough clothes and money but supporting companies like shein can never be justified. The clothes will fall apart anyway and those poor kids… I can’t… it’s so fucking sad.
Fr! My friend used to buy from them (she still might be idk) and this is how the conversation went EVERY TIME: Her: They're the only place with cheap plus size clothing. Me: Have you tried thrifting? Her: All the plus size stuff there is ugly and frumpy. Me: Then what if you make your own clothes? Her: I don't have the time. (while spending six hours on her phone) I don't care what your financial situation is or what size you are, supporting Shein is supporting illegal labor, consumerism, and destruction of the environment.
@@duz_machines_8429I'm really sympathetic to people's financial situations, but I will always say that it's better to spend the extra money on something that will stand the test of time vs needing to buy something cheap every other week.
@@duz_machines_8429 must be nice to have money and a conventional sized body. speaking as someone learning how to sew, hand making clothes isn't something you just pick up from day one. it takes a lot longer to 1) get the money for fabric/equipment/dressforms/etc 2) learn to sew something that has a high enough quality to survive a washing machine 3) actually find the time to do the physical labor of sewing. regurgitating the same old classist phrases make you sound incredibly elitist. ofc it's better to shop elsewhere but we shouldn't judge people if that is genuinely all they can afford. poor (and/or plus size) people deserve to dress how they want. the REAL problem with fast fashion lies with the people who only buy clothes to fit with a short-trend cycle; they usually wear an outfit once or twice and then trash it to follow the next trend. the majority of people buying from shein/fashion nova/similar stores aren't like that though.
I will not buy from shein because it is a sweatshop in a country that murders their citizens just because is revolting that is why i won't see the plastifacation people because they are chinese murder victims that had their organs harvested to profit the ccp.
(Not being an advocate for Shein here, I just wanted to point out something about one of the stories.) The vial of blood, beans and needle were the fault of FedEx employees. The girl in the video made another talking about it. Shein had gotten back to her and said they were looking into it. When Shein couldn't find any issue with her order, it was discovered that the blood vial was from a US facility, as with all the other items. The girl then contacted the delivery company, FedEx, about it and FedEx refused to talk with her about it, so the fault now is lying with FedEx not Shein because FedEx doesn't even want to open dialogue with her about it.
Half of the shein stuff is absolutely true but other half are just clout chaser trying to fabricate stuff to go viral.. dont take everything on the internet too seriously
@@playwonderwall could be that a package of blood tests opened up and got mixed into the other order? who knows. my doctor sends our blood vials out through the mail for testing, it might be an at home one, given the syringe, idk.
Yeah fire the sweatshop workers for real. I'm absolutely disgusted at their unprofessionalism. Being 12 and being paid 10 cents an hour is no excuse for poor preference.
I'm shocked these people are shocked. Shein has been exposed countless times yet people are still buying their products and expecting quality? Come on guys. You're choosing to be obtuse at this point.
Not only is this disgusting and horrifying, but it also leads to two questions 1. The quality of their worker’s environment and the possible violation of labor laws (due to that poor kiddo losing their homework, and the fact that there are literal biohazard and insects in some of these packages) 2. The environmental risk. Not only from the shipping of the packages and those carbon emissions, plus the fast fashion of it all, BUT ALSO the risk of infestation by foreign species. Imagine if those spider eggs had hatched outside or that huge spider had escaped?? The potential environmental devastation and destabilization of native species is terrifying to think about.
Zoologist here, not to mention the hazards of animals hitchhiking on packages that could potentially become invasive species if released into the wild here.

The "creepy notebook" looks like it might be some poor kid's homework... imagine explaining that to the teacher... "sorry miss, I don't have my homework it somehow ended up in a package to be shipped hlafway across the world with someone's clothes..."
I really do not understand why shein still has customers. This is insane to me. At this point, no one can say they genuinely did not know or expect any of all of this. They got exposed so many times by now.
Because people are shopaholics, and Shein knows it. So they cut corners to make stuff dirt cheap, since people will buy it, just so that they can say "I bought something!" Like BookTok
Bcs its cheap, and you really don't have a choice when youre broke and need clothes ((im guilty of buying from them, just bcs we dont have cheaper options here))
@@cyanmarble6594 What did you do before Shein though? I know the life of buying the cheapest available clothes because of no money, too. We always tried to buy clothes used or swapped them around. Besides the basic ethics Shein as a company cleary lack, they use harmful chemicals as well. Shein is toxic in more than one way.
This HAS to be some sort of protest either from the slave laborers in the Shein sweatshops, a prank from whoever does the packaging (they would come into contact with hundreds to thousands of orders all around the world each day, OR a prank from the resellers possibly receiving items, THEN repackaging them and shipping them again with some surprises added.
The spider ones are the truly terrifying ones imo... not only is it spiders, but like, it's spiders from halfway across the world. They could become invasive...
I got dead bugs & what looked like bugs eggs in a package from Aliexpress once, but Aliexpress is many different sellers so it’s like buying from ebay. Aliexpress can’t be blamed for the bugs sent to me only the individual seller can, whereas with SHEIN they are responsible for everything sent out
The spider ones are the truly terrifying ones imo… not only is it spiders, but like, it's spiders from halfway across the world. They could become invasive…
The chemicals are dangerous for the consumer, just imagine how much more dangerous for the factory workers. Why is anyone still supporting Shein? If we keep giving them our money, they're not gonna stop.
I saw Someone (ex fedex employee)said it could be FedEx too due to how the employees are so mistreated that they would just throw anything in the packages to send off to the buyers.
The “you are going to die in this suit” GIRL WTF?????!!! WHAT EVEN IS THAT?!?!? Also the spiders and the mold are so disgusting omg what how is that even a thing
Reminds me of a post I saw on Reddit. Someone ordered an used coffee machine and found a note in it, from the previous owner, meaning they didn't even clean or check if it works.. maybe it's something similar? It also seems like a little bit of mistranslation..
To whoever child is possibly in Shein’s factorys I feel SO bad for. We’ve already received a childrens study and notebook, who’s know where or who’s hair that was? I hope they’re doing okay.

All of this aside, thank you for putting a TW for spiders in this video. I hate it when people just flash giant spiders in their videos without warning. It might seem like a small thing to some, but for some people, including myself, seeing a spider can put me on edge for hours. Thank you for pritorizing the comfort of your viewers!❤
Same! I had a brown recluse bite me around 3 and still have a scar at 39 and my Dad lost a chunk of his foot due to one biting him and he's blind so he didn't know what it was until it was literally almost too late. He almost lost his foot when he went to the ER to have emergency surgery on it and I had a h.s. teacher develop a staph infection from one and missed the majority of the school year in and out of the hospital. And spiders can be dangerous in one way or another and I'm terrified of ALL kinds!
@Buttercup84 I'm so sorry that happened to you and your dad. It's nice to meet others who have the same triggers as you, makes u feel less alone. Hope you have a great day❤️
This is what people get for knowing how harmful Fast-fashion is, even to the environment, and not caring and even “joking” about not caring that Fast-fashion is often made in sweatshops that use unsafe working conditions and child labor. UNICEF estimates that 168 million children between the ages of 5 and 17 are engaged in child labor. And no one deserves to possibly contract disease for buying clothes, but what kind of product do you expect when conditions are like this? Like someone else said, I could see how it could even be a message or attempt to make the brand stop selling
I have decided not to order from any shein, romwe, etc anymore but the Jaded London instance worries me because what if a brand that says they are good, handmade, etc are just re-selling products from cheap places for more money?
SWOOP made an excellent documentary on Shein. It's on here for free. Also, expecting safe work conditions and safely shipped products for the company who literally felt the need to use influencers for a propaganda campaign is kinda dumb.
To be fair there is usually propaganda in practically every consumer-employed advert, (although companies who push it on the hardest are usually suspicious in itself.)
its probably a good idea to wash any new clothes because the chemicals and dyes can soak into your skin while your wearing it and if you have sensitive skin and can make you break out. this shirt from amazon smelled weird and made me itch when i tried it on, but it was fine when i washed it
I used to work in a distribution center for an American clothing store. I NEVER wear clothes without washing them after buying. I've seen too much. Boxes come from overseas that have spiders, lizards, snakes and bugs in them. Mostly dead. But occasionally alive. Some boxes, when you open them, there's a horrible stench of chemicals. Some boxes get wet during shipping. Most of the clothes inside are in a thick plastic bag to protect them. But the bags are often torn or open. So, it's very likely that the clothes have spent days, weeks or sometimes months in very hot and humid conditions just festering and molding. Some boxes would have trash in them. Some boxes would have items from other companies because they're all made from the same sweatshops. Then you add in the warehouse/distribution center the clothes went to before being shipped to stores or the customer directly. These warehouses are full of dust and dirt and many aren't climate controlled. The workers, while picking/ packing items often accidentally drop clothes on the floor. The clothes get stepped on or fall in between dusty shelves. During the summer, workers are often drenched in sweat because there's no ac, while carrying stacks of clothes to pack. During the winter, they're often coming into work sick because most warehouses have limited pto and punish people for calling in sick. Workers have required number they have to meet each day. So, if they drop your items on the floor and then accidentally step/trip on them, they aren't going to exchange that item for a "clean" one. That item is getting packed just like any other item. Not to mention that a lot of items are returns from other customers. The warehouse isn't washing them before reselling. They will take a used/ dirty item, slap a new price tag on it and put it back in the box to sell again. I can remember a "special project" where buyers from the company went to thrift stores and bought all the skirts from the 90s they could find. Put them in boxes to come to the warehouse where we took them straight out of the box, slapped a price tag on them and put them in a different box to be distributed to stores across the country. These items could have been dirty or damaged and they were going to sell them as a special "vintage" line. Please wash all your clothes before wearing them. The warehouse I worked in had required cleaning duties at the end of our shift. But even then, the whole place was still constantly dirty. Unless you're making your own clothes, assume that the clothes you are buying from anywhere are not clean, are possibly used and have a layer of dangerous chemicals in them.
@@krisaissosmart oh my gosh dude thanks my mom orders alot online. i never thought about how clean a clothing department is. even at amazon i'm sure its not clean. Luckly i have never bought clothes online, but my mom does
YESSSS this has happened before to another brand, there was letters from the workers asking for help, I think this is their way (the workers) to put the attention in the brand
Thank you for putting a warning before showing the spiders on behalf of everyone who is severely arachnophobic like me. That was genuinely terrifying to see..😢
fr like these people are like "ugh its sheeein!!" meanwhile theyre still buying like?? ur the one who just bought it fym "ugh not this again" huh?? feels fishy. esp when no other site i found is talking about this kinda stuff, only how they had something missing from the package or something.
My mom buys from shein all the time and I tried to tell her the truth and showed multiple videos with proof, yet she refuses to believe me and debunks them as lies.
@@Lol_what.934 same. LITERALLY. I've told her the people there have bad work conditions, and they work for pennies which is why it's so cheap. and i didn't know they had gross things like mold until I watched this video. I'm going to show her this.
It’s because they’re cheap, they’re willing to buy from SHEIN because it’s cheap, literally the only reason. It’s the same with temu, I’ve had a bff who just refused to believe the fact that temu was sketchy at BEST, like they just said that ‘mnhhhh yeahhhh are you like really suuure?’ Um bae who the ever lover fuck would sell things THAT cheap?
Here is a hypothesis to ponder: the weird and dangerous items in these packages shipped from this dubious company are, in fact, clues to something far more sinister than their simple incompetence in manufacturing. (Sips tea with raised eyebrow)
6:09 i actually recognise this textbook! my class used to have a foreign exchange student from China who showed us his textbook and notes from his old school, it looked really similar to the one in the video. i feel like this is proof that there are kids working in the factories-i dont think adults own let alone use these types of textbooks
Ok the rock one is easy tho… it’s happened to me from other jeans many times before (never one that big tho, its usually like a little bit of grit/sand), and I’m almost positive it’s just something that gets into the pockets on accident leftover from when the jeans are being stonewashed/tumbled with rocks/pebbles during the dyeing/softening/texturizing/“destroying” process.
shein’s not gonna get rid of those child labor accusations anytime soon now and yet people who can afford non fast fashion still buy from them because tiktok microtrends are a blight
i only make 12 an hour, cheap clothes are my friend at the moment but i will NEVER order from shein or anything else like that. i’d much rather save my money (im privileged enough that i don’t have to pay rent yet) and get good clothes
They don't even save money because they fall apart. I've bought used clothes that were quality brands and in great condition and lasted me several years. Nobody needs to buy from places like this. They just want to.
My local boutique buys from SHEIN and cuts the tags out and replaces with their boutique tags, and sells upwards of $40-$300…. Wv ! I know this as fact because my friend was in charge of tag switching
Id warn your friend bc if anything like dermitis is caused by the clothing and there is no good reason other than it coming from Shein she and the shop could be done for false advertising/fraud. its not illegal to resell others clothes, but if something happens to the customer because they were lied to there can be serious repercussions especially if you didnt keep the fabric labels and someone had a reaction.
@@md-vq8sp absolutely!! They went as far as burning labels in a burn barrel in the back… she wasn’t asked to do that until she had seniority there, but she did quit not long after … they were told that the boutique worked with china manufacturers and it was there designs, but it cost a lot extra to get their tags in them.. this is how they went about it (HS kids mainly work there now, a few older) so they had to cut the manufacturers tab off and sew in theirs (to save $$)… this was just one of many unethical practices they had.. they have new ownership now, I don’t know how it’s ran currently .
Same. My theory is that working conditions are so bad everywhere and they can’t afford to quit their jobs and are trying to find ways to get people to pay attention. But it could be something else. It’s just my line of thought
@@gingercatqueen4368 I don't think putting what is essentially a biohazard into people's packages is the right thing to do no matter the circumstance...
Factories in China often have low level office staff running around doing the shipping at all hours which could explain how an elementary school textbook ended up getting mailed off. Someone probably earned their 8 year old a good scolding at school. Also, the woman who got the stone in a pocket got one of the pieces of pumice used to distress fabric.
The rock is somewhat undestandable. I am pretty sure that is pummus. It has many uses. In this case you can use it by throwing it in the washing machine with your jeans to break in your jeans without killing uour washing machine or wearing it a thousand times. There are 2 explanations why that got in her jeans. A) shein did some stone washing and the stone ended up in the pocket during the cycle. B) they included it in case the buyer wanted to break it in themselves
The contents of this is like dark magic being done and sent out. Avoid Shein. I’ve never felt that any clothes are so important and cheap - your wellbeing comes last.
@@FoundSheep-AN It seems unintentional but still could be dark magic. This is happening for a reason and could be bad karma for contributing to such a terrible company.
@@makaylahall2664there’s so much wrong with the products and the way they’re produced that I’m pretty sure it would take hours to type it all out, but so far there have been issues with employees pay-rates, product quality, customer checkout payment and workplace environment. it’s been a sinking ship for years now but nobody cares for very long because of the cheap pricing. In around 2020 there was someone else who went viral for having bugs in their shein products and people went off it… for about two weeks. in 2022 there was a big thing about the working conditions for workers but again it was only important for about a week. it’s insane how people will stop caring over the craziest things because of cheap pricing
At this point are we surprised? Why do people keep buying from Shein? These people are also exposing themselves for their lack of ethics. You get what you pay for, which is trash. I am not really having much sympathy for these ppl anymore who buy from Shein. It's not a secret what kinda company it is.
Blaming the customer for wanting to buy clothes that they want and separating the clothes from the company or just being oblivious is unfair. Videos like this only help the company get shut down, wait patiently and have an open-mind until then
This happens more than you know!! I use to work for a clothing company/brand who literally was getting shipment from fashion nova and selling it cheaper!! As well as shipments from Five Below (clothing items) marked either same price or higher as well. It’s actually crazy
This is one of the reasons why I heavily discourage my close ones from ordering from (ultra) fast fashion/ real-time fashion shops. The conditions are terrible, you're putting yourself at risk, and they're harming the environment as well.
We actually ordered some items for school from Shein and when we received them there was an Aldi catalogue (from Australia) in it. We could tell from tracking it had been through customs check and there was different types of tape on the box. In this case we are sure the extra "treasure" wasn't from Shein but customs.
You don’t have to imagine, look at massive food conglomerates like Tyson and the amount of people they’ve killed through unsafe food and shoddy supply chains
Eehhhh, I'm not convinced about the vial of blood thing. I work in a medical laboratory, so this is exactly my wheelhouse. First of all, if that blood is not labeled with patient information, it is useless - automatic rejection, no question. How would the testing company know that this sample is the one they're tracking down if it has no identifying information on it? Also, all the tests I'm familiar with that use that color of tube would require you to spin down the sample and separate the plasma from the red blood cells before shipping; I doubt they would send the whole blood.
So many stores buy clothes on SHEIN for cheap and resell them with higher prices and different tags, they’re just more careful about it. And it’s crazy because you’d never be able to notice unless you consume a lot of stuff from shein, which I do, so I notice. And it’s always the most popular fashion brands and well known stores too, like rue 21, Walmart, target. Pretty sure some shoe stores also are buying from there now too, I saw an exact pair I had in a sketchers.
How did they know that they were spider eggs? And if they were, so what? Spiders eat insects, and if you get too many spiders, they eat each other. If you've ever lived in a dilapidated old house for any amount of time, you get used to spiders, become friends with spiders, and begin to love spiders, because the alternative is so much worse.
The stone in the pocket is part of the stonewashing process which has been used for decades by all denim manufacturers that made Distressed and Acid Wash jeans.
I dont think the notebook and workbook are that weird. The slave worker was probably too exhausted from working hours and hours on end and packed it on accident. Shein has been outed for their god-awful practices. I can't believe people are still buying from them.
I’m autistic and when I get a package I immediately RIP it open, if a needle was in a package I would be dead. If that happened to a little kid they would also rip it open
You're not gonna immediately die from a needle stick lol. Worst case scenario you get HIV, but tons of people live long lives with HIV now thanks to the medication that's available.
I think I’ve seen a video somewhere of a shein order INFESTED with bugs, yes, live bugs and it wasn’t just one or two but probably about over twenty. Disgusting.
I mean, if I was an underpaid, overworked Shien's worker sewing or shipping those stuff, I'd put spiders there aswell. Complaining about the quality is... tone deaf at best.
i ordered a couple things a long long long time ago bc this stuff was never out abt it, then as soon as i got the stuff on christmas day thats when ppl started talking about how horrible it was. never opened the clothing in fear of something being in there
Oh!! I know the answer to one of these!! The jeans came with a rock because jeans are tumbled with then to create wash/distressing when being made. All denim starts as the super dark stiff stuff then is pebbled down to that
I don't know why, but the beans were more surprising to me than the syringe, every time I wonder how they missed the can, because the syringe was small, but the can? How did they do it?
That's a bit like North Korea having tourist tours. They do, but you have to be pretty braindead to think that what you see on those resembles reality. Then again, the term braindead is probably pretty apt for many influencers.
wash new clothes!! this can happen with any new clothes...honestly, they're mostly all coming from the same place. We can act all uppity, but most clothing is made in slave factories now. And most companies do put chemicals on them to prevent mold growth during transit. So wash your clothes before you wear them! The other stuff...just ewww. But can't say I haven't gotten my fair share of wtfs from Amazon, too. USA here.
I mean SHEIN probably is using sweatshops in China which would explain the notebook and textbook. There definitely shouldn’t be children working in factories but considering they don’t have the same labor laws that we do, it sadly makes sense
Awful-smelling items _could_ be caused by a disinfectant/preservative called _formaldehyde. It's a chemical commonly used by clothing brands to prevent mold/wrinkling during the shipping process. It's quite rare, but there are people who are allergic to _formaldehyde_, so the rashes people are getting could be caused by it. *_ALWAYS_* wash your clothes before you try on/wear them!! Oh yeah, funnily enough, formaldehyde is also the chemical used to preserve *dead bodies* until the date they're buried.
Now I can come up with a theory for the two Shein products received from other brands. It could've been that people scammed them by ordering the 20$ version from Shein and sending it back to the bigger brand for not fitting and getting refunded the 70$. That way they would've paid 20$ for the high quality clothes. And then the bigger brand put the returned Shein clothes onto the market without checking it if it the real one or not.
That's what I was thinking. Maybe the workers are trying to spot the attention in the brand, we know that there are children an this type of things happened before to another brand, there was letters from the workers in the clothes asking for help
