Yeah dude as someone who played since the birth of apex(before seasons where even a thing) I havent played apex in months. I'm just tired of how they handle the game like shit. Like they just dont care about anything exept the money as you stated in the video. This is the first apex video I've also seen in months btw so it's cool to see someone like you addressing it.
Respawns biggest mistake with Apex was signing a contract with EA. They should’ve known better that EA notoriously violently destroys every game their name is attached to. Such a shame to see such a fantastic game with immense potential go to waste
It sucks cause this game could be so much bigger if they didn't treat the game this way. It's super unfortunate. It's my favorite game I've ever played
I have such a love-hate relationship with this game, their server, sound and SBMM issues are such a deterrent and makes me not want to play but then I really love Apex cus the core gameplay is unmatched and I still have fun when I'm not suffering from those issues, the game is really good but like, HOLY SHIT EA, stop killing such a good game
The simple reason is... greed. It's incredible how they don't even listen to actual good feedback, that would have given both money and a playerbase that enjoys their game, as if players enjoy the game, they'd be likely to spend money to support the devs. But instead of that and fixing critical issues, they'd rather throw events with skins and almost nothing else pretty much, and what's more crazy is they still get profit from it. Main reason why we all should stop spending money on this game. We all know it, but some people would still do it anyways, knowing that there's not any other content, no balance changes and fix of critical issues and that's where the problem lies.
I feel like respawn developers actually care. its EA that are money hungry and are forcing respawn to bring out skins and cosmetics instead of LTMs. tiny creature of the universe signing off
I got banned permanently for reporting someone who cheated in ranked. 2 months after my ban, I received an email saying they will not enforce any rules on this player.
Well I assume that's why I got banned. They say I got banned for cheating but it is blatantly wrong. Upon "contesting" the ban they just check if the ban matches the account. it is just crazy but tbh I kinda was addicted, this game hasn't been good nor fun for long, such as any bigger live service game.
Matchmaking with this split sucks soo much One match I was with an unranked while the champions were predators and than the other match I was shocked seeing that both of my teammates were predators for 3 seasons backs to back while my rank at that time was silver 2 and highest is diamond
I've been thinking the same thing, the game started really going down hill after they canceled Klein. So dumb to punish someone for something from a decade ago. He didn't even do anything he just said really dumb stuff

Idk, maybe they've had to rebuild a lot from COVID over the last 2 years, but into 2023 they can't use that excuse anymore. It's so strange how certain features take literal years to make which should only take a few months at most. As a programmer myself, I genuinely have no idea why it takes them so long to program things like private lobbies or aim training tools built into the game. I feel like I could code that stuff myself in just a few months and it's taken them years with entire teams of professional developers. It baffles me.
I don't mind spending money on this game. It's free I put a fair share. But I can't justify 160$ for a video game. I can spend 130 fill up my tank and go in the mountains and have a nice 30$ lunch.
I would just say cut ties with ea once the contract is done and actually help the game instead learn off the community and make the game the best it could be

I'm with ya but I think we are all dreaming for this to happen , kinda similar to football now , it's no longer a game it's a business... just a opinion
knowing EA they are not going to do anything and stay sucking the soul out of the buffalo ;-;(BTW DON'T BUY THE EVENT, YOU ARE ONLY GOING TO MAKE IT WORSE). it's really sad/funny to see that indie games are absolutely destroying triple AAA games in content, core gameplay and fan service
