I find this video amusing, because I'm a Mets fan and I just last night I went to a Mets Phillies game where the Mets lost. However with video I feel a lot better about my team.
Don't let anyone discourage you from making these videos. You've taken time to learn the difference between authentic jerseys and knockoffs. I did the same thing for my Carolina Panthers Jerseys. Pass the knowledge so consumers know what to look for and don't get ripped off. I don't mind good knock offs for cheap, but don't try and sell me a knock off as authentic. Knowledge is power people, protect yourselves. Great video
2 of the authentics i bought had the tags on the neck.... a phillies jimmy rollins, and i forgot the other team. it happens occasionally but usually its on the sleeve as you said. still a great video, lots of good pointers.
Great video man. I also truly hate fake products like jerseys that are marketed as authentic. I know some people like the fake ones cause they are cheap and that’s fine but not when they are trying to deceive a buyer.
This video helped me verify my jersey i recently bought on ebay is real!i just looked at the pic of the kinsler one i ordered and i can already tell its real!i was kinda worried about it being fake.Thanks a BUNCH!

Great job helping people. Great video. One thing about the neck tags though. 99% of the time they will be on the sleeve on authentics. I have had cool base authentics come straight from MLB Shop and Majestic with the tags on the neck though. It isnt very often but it does happen.
Nice Vid man I get so pissed seeing all these jerseys with the tags hanging from the neck on ebay and asking $80 and up for these knock off I report them to ebay but they don't do nothing. Maybe if MLB lower the price on their jersey people will stop feeding the Chinese
I had a few real jerseys and they not cheap...so I cnt fault someone who wants a jersey at a cheaper price...maybe that parent or college kid doesn't have that kind of money and they want there favorite players jersey ......$20??? For a knock off....Over maybe $100+ real jersey ....that's a no brainer

The Jeter 3000 Jeter i received from MLB is a Replica . the 1 with the tags on the neck,I wounder if MLB does that puts the tags on the arms for the on field Jersey's & for replicas on the neck. But that jersey i have has no nasty over layers on it. I have seen lots of Jersey's on EBAY the fake 1's they put their tags on the neck as well the ripoffs try to fool you.Sometimes their good at it.

Hey I know I usually don't like to rock fake jerseys but last march I got a Twins Ivory jersey from 2010 at a benefit auction for $60 to help an aunt battling Mesothelioma and that is one of my favorite jerseys of all time. But you know it's all about what you want but that's the only fake I'll try to rock.

I was told that the replica jerseys from Majestic come with tags on the neck.. They hang from the wash tag.. its pro jerseys that hang from the arm.. ie Cool Base pro, and Authentic Pro.. Ill make a quick vid today explaning that

Hey so i actually have a jersey i bought at citizens bank park. Everything you said is spot on except the inner tag says USA not U.S.A. And i still have the tags on it from when I purchased it. Additionally the newer jerseys aka Bryce Harper ive purchased from fanatics/mlb shop also say USA not U.S.A. Have receipts to show purchased from fanatics and mlb shop.
Yes at retail price the authentics are expensive. But seriously, look on ebay. You can great deals on authentics. I own five cool bases, all blank, didn't pay over $100 for any of them. I got the Twins' pinstripe cream jersey for $19.99 brand new for example. Just spend some time and look.
I admit I use to buy fakes because I thought I was getting a good deal but then I realized I was getting garbage and stopped and got rid of my fakes. Even though I can't afford the authentics unless I get good deals on ebay I buy replicas because at least they are real jerseys.

HomeTownFitteds I just wanted to give you and everyone else the warning that officialmlbonline.com is complete garbage. I received only two out of the three jerseys I ordered. This site and the jerseys are 100% pure fake. The two jerseys that I actually received were stained, the stitching was extremely sloppy and get this...the Majestic authentic patches on the jersey were plastic and looked like they were stapled on. Even though the site says that these jerseys are "Made In America" it is absolutely not true. There was not even a tag that said "Made in the U.S.A. anywhere. And the MLB logo on the back of the neck collar was that terrible knock-off with the stitching coming down off the ball in the logo. The package arrived to me from Shanghai. Dude, I need to send you pictures of this mess I received. It just makes me want to vomit. I don't know if there is a way to get my money back or if there is a process to take to turn in this fake fake fake website. Everyone stay away!!

I only buy ncaa football jerseys from China because I like how they actually put the conference logos and such on the jerseys compared to the ones you can buy at games. On the MLB/(Majestic) side I buy from stadiums and shops or sometimes eBay. Just my opinion and I'm with you about the MLB jerseys they are terrible..

I how to admit in advance that I don't know and I really can't tell the difference which majestic jerseys I just like what I like they are all replicas in my book but we in the Jersey community are specially blessed there are so many in the world who are happy with less than what we have so if you come across a facsimile Jersey you don't want please donate it to your nearest goodwill or shelter

Well they both are Authentic and what the pros wear.. But the Cool Base are a lot thinner and lighter then the Other Authentic Jerseys.. For Example my Blue Jays Jerseys are thick and heavy, and that Mets Jersey is So light and a lot better to wear on hot days! I hope I was able to answer the question you had..
Twice, I have gone into my local Modell's Sporting goods, and seen fake jerseys for sale in the store. My guess as to what happened, is that someone bought one real jersey from the store, and one fake from online, and then used the receipt from the real purchase to return the fake jersey to the store, and they put it back on the shelves. I tried to tell an associate about it and they could not tell the difference, despite a real and fake being right next to each other, it was astounding. I am the same way as you, I hate fake jerseys, although I dont mind NFL fakes quite as much, but they can aslo be pretty bad
Thats crazy if that happend!! I could see people doing that though wowow!!! And the sad part is the store took it back and didnt even notice! To me its nit even about the quality of the fake jerseys.. Its the thought that its fake and they are just taking money from you and others.. Including the guy in a small town with a jersey shop trying to sell the good stuff to fans, and put food on his table.. Thats what its about..

Great video! Just got my Oakland Athletics jersey from MLB shop and it looks great the only difference is that the tag is in the neck collar and not the sleeve.
As a Braves fan I HATE seeing the fake jerseys at Turner Field. No fakes look worse than the Braves. China's attempt at replicating the Tomahawk under the "Atlanta" or "Braves" script is absolutely horrendous. But, when you see an authentic you know it because the stitching is beyond perfection!
I think one Good thing about the cool base and flex base jerseys are the jock tags the people who produce these fakes don't even attempt to screen print them instead their always stitched.

i collect and i got tons of fakes and i love them. Most of them look exactly the same and i pay 20 bucks a pop. Majestic needs to stop charging fans 200 bucks for a jersey in my opinion.
I hear ya on the price of Authentics.. But buying fakes isnt a way of showing Majestic that your upset.. Its hurtting the little guy out there that has a shop with non-fake jerseys.. Starving cause of the chines knockoffs.. And you may think they look like the real deal.. But i can spot you a mile away at the Game, on the street, at the store, you name it.. Fakes are gross... In my opinion.. Even if your paying 20$ your still paying to much.. But to each their own.. If you are willingly buying them.. At least you know what your getting.. Im just trying to help those that care and dont wanna get ripped off...
100 dollar range fine i agree on the price too however i don't like knock offs i been stiffed on a couple off ebay being ignorant and buying the first cheap one i seen. Never again. There are the cheaper cool base jerseys for around 120.
Another thing patches on jerseys should never be folded. I could see from the Jeter that the WS patch was folded, it is not like that on legit jerseys.
I'll take a fake any day of the week, this video made me buy about 4 on order!.. the fakes are nice so when I wear to game or out I don't mind getting them dirty .. cause if I pay $250-350 for fully stitched jersey of a current player! I don't freak when I drop my drink or hotdog on them .. and I don't think people are gonna be examining me that close lol .. but ya you can tell they are fake if you take a few secs to go up close and look
Have you ever tried to count the number of fake Jays jerseys that are worn around the dome? I usually count at least 20 before I even get inside. The previous generation of Jays jerseys are easy to pick out because of the bubbling letters that have an incorrect size & colour. The newer fake jerseys share the same problems, but the Cool Base jock tag sewn onto the front is a giveaway. Like you said, they shouldn't be sewn. Also, Majestic hasn't released a Cool Base version of the new jersey.
