Umm no, the biyer broker agreement is NOT currently used the way they are requiring it to be used in the future. Buyers aren't going to sign rhem saying they're on the hook for the agent pay.
In Utah, this is how it's been for a couple decades. Yes, buyers who want representation will agree to pay for it. However they'll also seek out listings that will pay their buyer for them.
In FL, the BBA is currently optional but it does say the buyer pays if the seller won’t. Whether or not the buyer wants to make an offer on such a listing is up to them.
Dude, the toothpaste is out of the tube...seller's are going to join forces like it or not. Sadly for many agents it will ne a matter of pay your bills or not.
