They do not like that agents get paid for their work? That is ludacris. People are more than free to enter into a real estate transaction as a buyer or seller on their own. There is no law forcing anyone to go through a real estate agent. So if there is no requirement to use a real estate agent and people "hate" agents & brokers so much, why are they hiring them?
eXp stock went from $5 to $77 to $11. In its early years it experienced explosive growth. Real stock is $4.50 and in the early growth phases similar to eXp. Real has a "Real" chance to take a similar stock trajectory (ie; $4.50 to $50, and yes pun intended). Do the math, think about the probabilities. Not financial advice. 😃
How you go past "settlement" like we dont have to talk about WHY the DOJ is in your industry 🤔 I get your side....but realtors made money off of that housing crash so can you really be my advocate when you make money on the sale? And i know the morgage/banking issues and the housing shortage arent realtors fault so im not blaming and yall some good people. But you dont advocate for the homeowner. At best you are a neutral party for us. Isnt it fair we have transparency on how you make commission 🤔 I mean it based on the house right so if you work 3 days or 3 months, the commission is the same, right? So after over 15 years and the industry is becoming worse, are you surprised the DOJ stepped in? Im not.
The United States freaking government needs to leave its fingers out of this! I don't even know how we ended up in a national class ation. Practices are so different in every state. The DOJ should just leave it alone unless they want a lot of pissed off voters in November.
@@MassiveAgent When I replied yesterday, I wasn't aware yet that the DOJ's actions are in complete contravention to a settlement agreement previously reached with NAR. Then I caught Tom Toole's show. My jaw is still on the floor.
Sharran is like the Jessica Fletcher of real estate. Not a single problem he can't solve, not a single idea or clue to success he can't find and piece together. Combine that with his generous heart and he is real estate's greatest treasure especially right now given these nutty times.

Dustin, I am an upcoming Agent. I am looking for a Brokerage for a newbie. How is REAL for an onboarding and new agent going to fare with a virtual company? Ive got KW, eXp & REAL as my 3 options. I know you are bias now to REAL, but that is ok, I just need to know your opinion for a NEW agent. Also, I live in a small rural area of California and there are not agents here that are using these Brokerages. We seem to only have the individual boutique ones. What are your thoughts Dustin, I really want to feel I am a part of a good place and will get help with all the new stuff that I know I will need help with at first. Thank you so much ~ Christina

eXp got the "recruit" stigma because they were the first ones to do it, completely changing the game... This will wear off because now all the other cloud models are recruiting as well. REAL, LPT and Epique.... It 's going to wind up like the seagulls in Toy Story.. Mine, Mine, Mine, Mine
