I doubt they encounter anything that will be able to sever the cord, the bigger problem is that if they hit zero hit points they are out of the plane instantly and can't get back, so no popping people back up from unconscious. They will be fine but they won't be able to help and the rest of the party is a man down, which will really hurt against a potential boss encounter.

I wonder if Matt is saving any MN crossover for when they are closer in level so they can work together more as equals. BH won’t be anywhere near equals with VM foe a long time if ever, but if they wait until level 10+, the full group would probably be one pretty equal footing with one or only a couple MN members. If, say, it was just Beau, Caleb, and maybe Essek looking into things, it could put the three of them on fairly equal footing with the 7 Bell’s Hells members.

So is there a chance we'll see the inevitable end in this campaign? I'd love to see how the party deals with her phasing in and out of matter and how they're interaction with Otohan might influence any conflic.

Campaign 3 feels like the end. It feels like phase 3 of the MCU. We might not be getting a Campaign 4(at least the same style of Campaign as 1, 2, 3).

One thing that I don't understand is the concern of meta gaming/fan service of introducing old PCs then also hoping to see MN PCs. I would imagine if your worried about the first issue, you wouldnt necessarily want to see the second. Love the reviews glad to see your enjoying the campaign as well 🙂

It does feel very shadowfelly, but I'm fairly sure Pike said at some point that she's never felt anything like the energy of where Laudna is, and she's _been_ to the Shadowfell.

Personally, since Matt kept pointing out that all the 'set pieces' like the house and the trees were made out of the same kind of rock, I think whatever this place is, it's recreating Laudna's memories. That hut clearly was her home at one point and we know she has some (terrible) memories of Whitestone.

I like the reincarnate spell myself to bring laudna back
