This would have changed by the time the end product was done. One thing Snyder was good at, was listening to fans, only for WB to put a stop to it, because they didn't understand, WB meddles with all this more than we know. Snyder had to adhere to their ideas too at meetings, where they go, oh we think you should, wouldn't it be good if...and so on. Far too much meddling. @@L1ghtOn3well they can’t really fire James Gunn or Peter Safran yet because they haven’t released any movies or shows yet. Besides the DCEU movies of this year aren’t really part of the new DCU, Gunn just announced them because they were already finished before he took over.
It's actually funny that if Snyder's movies were an elseworld story, it would probably be considered one of the best stories in DC, somewhere next to Injustice, but because those stories were a part of main unniverse, people are trashing Zack and his fans. For me, JL2 and 3 were what superhero movies always needed. Not a rival to MCU but something what MCU wasn't able to do: darker, more brutal and realistic story with deeper characters. Less jokes and colors but more epicness with more serious take. We have seen Nolan's Batman trilogy, Joker and last Batman movie. They're great. But nobody ever tried to make a cinematic superhero unniverse in this less family friendly style. Snyner could achieve it. And I still believe that someday he will. We shall see how things will go after Rebel Moon premiere :)
@@WL1264 WB forced Snyder to fit multiple movies planned by him in a single movie and even when he managed to somehow fiteverything in a pretty smart way, Warner still wanted some scenes to be cutted, because "movie was too long". So it's amazing that whole Luthor's intrigue, Batman's redemption arc and Superman becomming a symbol storylines were told in such good way. Snyder is really creative guy, but he cannot be limited by a screentime and WB was making problems all the time

I love all the snyder trilogy even with some flaws is the best stuff dc had done since the nolan batman. The only 2 things i hate about the snyder movies are ezra miller and amber heard.
Snyder's version never made it to the cinema because a lot of Missmanagement, tragic events and certain world events. Let's be happy about what we got.
Do your homework next time. The Lois/Bruce plot was scrapped by WB even before the JL filming because they knew fans would go nuts. Snyder wanted to play with the trope of the dead husband not returning from war and his wife falling for another man after his pacing, but then the husband is back and awkward things happens. I agree that this plot would have been hard to sell due to Snyder vision already seen as the worst evil thing ever but it was a bold adult angle for those superheroes. Anyway, he changed his plans and in ZSJL, a lot of things where different from those storyboards (WW and Aquaman death by Darkseid or Joker and Deathstroke in the Knightmare team up). At the end I like that the story had a proper ending instead of keep going on forever, letting another creators doing their own vision after him.
The main problem I have with the Bruce/Lois thing is that the whole reason Bruce puts the League together is to honor Clark’s memory. Sleeping with the woman he intended to marry feels contrary to that
i do understand that people dont like what zack did to superman and batman, aswell as how the movies have turned out. But i think its actually a really interesting story and i think the synderverse would have been worth it to continue. It may have not been perfect but definitely not terrible.

'These aren't our mainline heroes' but they are though, that's the problem. Yes, if they weren't then of course we could look past the changes, but they are. At that point that was our only Superman, Batman etc on screen and they were mutilated beyond recognition besides regalia and names.

Also in the animated series it was shown that Lois didn’t care that much for Clark as she was already dating / in a relationship with Clark but she still decided to Date Bruce in that one Episode

Aquaman is apart of the Snyderverse for the same proxy reasons as Wonder Woman and SS. James Wan was on board and filming Aquaman during Snyder’s reign and even though it was post producted after he left and Geoff Johns mainly had his hands in it, it’s still in line with the Snyderverse. Only thing I don’t like about that is if I wanted to have a marathon of the films, Aquaman would feel awkward and unsatisfying as a final movie in the universe.
I wasn't a fan of BvS, but ZS's Justice League had me pumped for what was to come. I don't think comics are the only viable option - no one expected the Snyder cut, yet here it is. Also, since Cavill has been ousted by WB, Affleck is done for, Ray Fisher was screwed over by everyone but Zach, and Gadot has a shaky future with WB, a live-action continuation could really work with this crew.
When I first read zs original slate for the snyderverse I thought that I might be able to make a stop motion videos based on some of those scenes from his visions. For now take my words as "maybe" because I'm kinda still a rookie stop motion maker and I'm also only have a few amount of budget for my videos.
Like: - batman,in a hellbat suit, and Superman,being mind controlled.fought each other in the Apocalypse without pulling any punches. -Batman save lois, using the hellbat suit or Flash saved lois Batman and Superman fought darkseid together Both Batman and Superman died during the final battle - Batman doesn't have any relationship with lois Lane and isn't the father of an unborn child, but instead, it's Superman. - The epilogue ending shows both Damien Wayne and Jon Kent as the new Batman and Superman.
Zack already stated he would have retconned the lois and Bruce romance plot. He has stated that his updated script would not have that element and stick to lois and clark being together. Not bruce. In fact that original outline is completely outdated. He already said if he ever did finish his story alot of that original plot would be redone.
Massive missed opportunity, now we have Gunns mentality of dick and fart jokes and belittling hurting fans online, not to mention trying his hardest to dismantle the DCEU, which not that long ago fans were very happy for Cavills return, only for Gunn to drop him instead. The script was finished before bvs was made and the story line was abandoned about bruce and lois romance. And the movie would have taken different route in some parts.
as i know james gunn , they will all return for big upcoming events once chapter 1 is completed , he had always the desire to work with zack again on a project its just zack is busy with rebel moon etc and james needs to lay a solid foundation for things to come
James Gunn, a true visionary? Ha, don't know where you're heads been or where you've been living. It's been a nightmare under his new regime and completely unwatchable. The only real visionary here is over on Netflix right now working on Rebel Moon projects. Successful project, might I add that will with all his success at Netflix allow him to finish his Snyderverse there because of all the Netflix industry supporters that thrive to help him succeed. It'll be there long after the DCU is gone too, which I'm gonna guess with Gunn's stupidity about 2 or 3 months at most.
I have very mixed feelings towards Snyder. Firstly, he can very obviously make good comic book movies- 300, Watchmen. Secondly, while I do think BvS was overhated, its still not great tbh. Its certainly not some misunderstood masterpiece (seen this excuse). Thirdly, the Snydercut was pretty good, I liked it (though definitely needed trimming- it did not need four hours to tell the story it wanted to tell) and I would have liked to see the rest of Snyder's story played out. On the other hand, The Suicide Squad (2021) is hands down the best DCEU film and Gunn has a great track record for comic book movies and great respect for comic book characters. So I'm simultaneously excited to see what Gunn's universe puts out and kinda have a sense of regret that we won't see Snyder's story finished.
I vehemently disagree about this narrative of DC fandom being broken due to the SnyderVerse, because it’s idiotic and lacks any context … Batman was actually broken pre Begins … but that hadn’t broken the fandom. What happened was actually they found a fantastic sweet spot with Batman… and unified Batman fans & casual non fans… but due to years of neglect and many other factors financial, social climate and of the shadow of Christopher Reeve WB hadn’t shopped live action Superman the same way. Superman was actually broken as well for modern audiences where at least Batman had much more consensus what goes into a Batman movie once the Kilmer era ended. The hesitation in bringing about a shared DC universe varied from no in-house consensus, some of it was finding the right balance of realism… to they were just too OP to put on scene… What Zack did was attempt to strike a balance between gravitas and science fiction… adding apex level baddies… Zack wasn’t perfect but there also wasn’t anybody else who could actually deliver that package anyway… so you actually haven’t lost anything at the end of the day. It’s should have been a contained story as planned then move on to something lighter or in the middle. What you get now is the continued down grade of a post 911 Superman who now continues to be broken… a character too emotional to be taken seriously.. And a character too family friendly to attach any adult take to without “alienating” both new fans over 14 and the Superman skeptics .. yes I see what I did.
Snyderverse is gone sadly. The way that things are going now...with the "re-boot"....well...I don't know....good luck guys....I don't think it will work.
Just because you don’t understand and wb didn’t let who whole vision play out is criminal it starts drim but over time these characters become better hero’s especially Batman because he see Superman being such a boys scout and what he does for the human race’s
It wasn't perfect but I truly enjoyed ZS vision and versions of these DC characters. Would love him to at least be able to end it off in a manner most people will be able to move on.
Admittedly 9 months ago and things change, but as much as I love Zack as a person with a childlike optimism towards film, he is an AWFUL storyteller. He makes movies like a child opening his toy box grabbing two figures and bashing them together making explosion noises. He makes movies for those with ADHD and no real desire to see character development. Visually amazing but often sending the wrong message or just pretty for pretties sake. People adore him and that’s fine, but if you do, don’t try and convince people he’s an amazing filmmaker. He’s not. You liking it is perfectly fine though and he’s there for you.
It’s not the same but for Batman surviving the omega beam maybe it was his willpower/strength/spirit. As i said it’s not the same but look, my life was pretty cool and good as child but I’ve had some parts where my mother physically emotionally and psychologically abused me, like real real bad, from racism as they’re blonde and white and im well… hispanic looking, beated me (my sister and mom), beated me in the shower as i was a kid, smashed my head into the wall, putting my hands over the stove to threaten me into burning them (the thing was on), and taking me to balcony holding me into the edge or void as if she was batman and i was a random crook from Gotham. i somehow still love her and understand her because of her past and storylife and what she had to do, as a kid (6/7 or 8) i spent sometime inside a prison, a penal idk the English name for it (i learned/learnt English by myself so I’m sorry), and i have to cope with my life being ruined as my aunt stole millions from my mom, that away from me the chance of having a normal life, school(education) and a house, I’m still a very noble and humble person, sometimes i feel sad (everytime tbh) but deep inside of me I’m happy and my inner child is still alive as the world still amuses me, i try to help, i feed stray dogs i even adopted one recently, traveling in car, walking, the world amazes me, and I’m always smiling with the simple things. I’ve survived many many Snow OD’s… like people does a normal slim line and call it a day, i did 5 + lines in one but i did 3 lines, I’ve took 17+ tabs of A(!1D once and still here, some people go insane, one if the times where i took 7+gs of dried mushrooms i was at risk of a shock and i couldn’t be at the hospital because of that, the doctors couldn’t help, another doctor said that i was in risk or having a heart attack (another hospital) or something like that, I’ve smo’d 20+ gs of dmt in less than 3 months and I’ve had the chance to leave this place as i sometimes find it painful and the time i was about to completely say goodbye and fall i just held into the love that i have for the animals of this world, my pets, my mother and my sister. Some people that know this say that i have a strong willpower and some that i need therapy, it was a surplus and unnecessary story about me but i wanted to say that sometimes love, willpower or the dream of hope can make you hold into life.

The Snyderverse/DCEU is horrible & is a complete failure. The problem with WB & Zack Snyder is that WB wanted Snyder to helm a live action DC Cinematic Universe & Snyder jsut wanted to make a specific number of projects telling a specific story. If Snyder would've been true & authenic to these characters, it would've hit more & been better. Imagine if we got the true authenic Superman who is hopeful, optimistic, inspiring - "The Man Of Tomorrow," & then he loses his wife & succumbs to The Anti-Life Equation & is under Darkseid's control.

They messed up BVS by releasing the edit to Cinemas, they totally missed up Suicide Squad destroying David Ayers movie and then they made themselves even more of an embarrassment with what they done to Justice League which was so bad they had to release Zack Snyders Justice League. Wonder Women was great but after that things started to get worse with the silly Aquaman an WW1984 and so on and there were so hopefully moments in what they have been releasing but it's never been up there and they should never ever have tried to be like Marvel. They need to let Zack Snyder make Justice League 2 & 3 and they need to release the David Ayers Cut of Suicide Squad.

Haven’t seen the 3/4 movies that came out this year and I actually think that suicide squad (2016) was a mess the John Cena suicide squad was better.

The first Suicide squad was destroyed by the studio which is really rough as the director had just done Fury which is a super movie as so great things are expected of his version. The Snyderverse was just Zack Snyder retelling Avengers Infinity War and Avengers Endgame in his own dark and gritty style with the DC characters. While also making Lois Lane the worst love interest ever, an embarrassing amount of plot contrivances, and not really making DC a cinematic universe but a Justice League saga that is not different from Harry Potter or The Lord of the Rings films. Except Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings are better films. There was basically no room for DC to grow or expand under Snyder. I really hope that Zack Snyder never touches a DC property again and his fan base can shut up already and just take the comic book. I want to see something like Justice League Unlimited and the DC Animated Movie Universe for the DC Cinematic Universe. There’s a lot of things I don’t like in James Gunn’s new plan like connecting animation and gaming to live action movies and shows. I just don’t see that being good. I think they should do experimental storytelling with animation such as anime and they should just develop a DC Gaming Universe. Basically Zack Snyder is given way too much credit than he actually deserves and he should just focus on whatever he’s doing at Netflix. I never resonated with the Snyderverse and I hate the fact that it’s called the Snyderverse, so I don’t care how the story concludes. I hope James Gunn knows what’s he’s doing but not really feeling optimistic on the DCU.
@@justincartledge111 there is a difference but the stories are very similar. Basically Man of Steel is the only DC movie that has its own identity but then crumbled after the pathetic second movie. The DC Universe doesn’t embrace many of its aspects and the stories really suffer from that attitude.

Many "fans" seem to forget something about different possibilities/timelines/alternate versions of that universe/timeline… BTAS simplifies it with Batman Beyond as Batman Beyond is not the future but a possibility that still exists as it self universe; BTAS has different timelines (comics) which change the canon and Beyond itself has many many / multiple possibilities/realities within the same "concept". what I’m trying to say is that if they want to use the canon as an excuse to prevent batgirl’s release it didn’t stop them when they wanted to milk money… Batman 89 comic book is an alternate timeline from Burton’s Universe, Keaton’s Batman from The Flash wasn’t actually the one from Burton’s Batman universe Per sé but a different version of him, we learned/learnt that some variants can look the same but others can look different so the cancelled Batman Beyond movie can work too, Batgirl Movie can work too (We can also see a version of Burton’s Batman in the comic where our actual bruce travels across the multiverse, it doesn’t confirms if is the Batman from the movie, the one from Burton’s Comic or anything like that… so…) also in the movie in that alternate version of Burton’s Batman he said that he didn’t have a Superman but if im not mistaken Cage’s Superman was intended to be in Burton’s Batman Universe now for the CW… they ruined the whole multiverse and things that were already stablished with their lame try of DC’s Crisis. for Superman (Reeves) we also have different timelines for him/versions. We have the donner cut one, the theatrical cut one, we have the version of reeves that eventually becomes Brandon Routh’s Superman which eventually becomes Kingdom come’s Superman in the CW. So reeves superman has like 3 different versions, the Donner (OG), theatrical one, and the one that continues in Superman returns ignoring the sequels and becoming Kingdom Come Superman in CW. also the SnyderVerse timeline can be fixed if we take the theatrical cuts and the Josstice league as non/not canon or a different timeline that got created as consequence of Barry’s Time Travel or something but… The Ayer Cut, Extended Cut for BVS etcetera and the Snydercut are in the same timeline. the canon is not an excuse as you can see, and DC in the movies are/is using the Elseworlds Brand/Seal now? Right??? If WB/DC messes a little bit y’all cry and point at them but if Marvel does something y’all accept it and normalize it which is kinda hypocrite/hypocrital now for the babies outside the speedforce, look people are still joking and some believe about the ezra miller slandering and rumors even though the chair thing was proven that ezra was a hero to a girl who was being a victim of assault, the Iceland incident was staged so they couldn’t proceed legally, the trespassing thing the person involved was ok with it and asked for ezra to not be put in a cell, the "kidnapping" it wasn’t bc the mother was there and he was providing shelter bc of an abusive father and husband < if u want to talk about the firearms… hush, like look at the USA😂 incidents with firearms everytime in clubs, roads, schools, walmarts… the grooming thing… the girl involved spoke against the media/press and people who believes the fake news and she gave the interview to a sensationalist press who threw slander at miller so imagine people’s reaction and jokes + hate if they used real babies and if they looked real, look at fhe people leaking that scene on youtube, look at the comments. now some people criticize cgi landscapes? I didn’t even notice tbh but disney does the same or even worse and people normalized it, they accept it. Now if you’re objective you’ll acknowledge disney’s poor cgi, why it isn’t a problem for their fans? Why they still call their content great even with their lacks etcetera, people tries to hate on the flash bc one they’re mind hived and believe everything that they see on the internet bc they don’t investigate, 2nd they hate on the cgi with "dimensional" stuff bc they don’t know/understand the theory/science behind it but still accepted the big eyes deforming faces scene from GOTG and quantumania effects… they accept the cartoonish plastic not even looks like mark hamill face on mandalorian, some people are still intolerant and they don’t like miller bc of his orientation and gender (something that still is a thing nowadays not exclusive from the announcement of his casting)
The Shazam 2 outfit change with no explanation was somehow explained by Zachary Levi, it was barry’s fault, some stuff can no change at all or some stuff can slightly change, remember how flash’s suit is different pre flashpoint and post flashpoint?
I hope that the ayer cut and schucmacher cut get released one day, with the multiverse thing we can have Pattinsons universe, gunn universe and the SnyderVerse (and i wish for the batgirl movie to be released) i wish that @JamesGunn was smart/intelligent. also the SnyderVerse timeline can be fixed if we take the theatrical cuts and the Josstice league as non/not canon or a different timeline that got created as consequence of Barry’s Time Travel or something but… The Ayer Cut, Extended Cut for BVS etcetera and the Snydercut are
Lol zack snyder was a complete train wreck. In order for Batman to survive omega beams he would need caps shield. Trying to force an unwanted relationship like Whedon did with hulk and widow would’ve just been seen as a marvel copycat. Thank god snyder is gone!
