Hello I have now opted for the original style amg grill which looks great with the LCD star emblem, I have the quad tips but have not had a chance to fit them presently, next job my end is fitting New glow plugs, thanks mrix

Yes the whole bumper off to remove and to fit the new grill. It is more tedious than the other Mercedes, unlucky I guess. But good luck 🤞🏽.

@@TT-1738 Hi I think its important to leave as much mesh as possible to fit around the complete outer edge of the grill because that`s basically a more flat edge to secure the grill, I then basically glued the horizontal slats and allowed enough mesh to fold down a little in to where the star emblem fits, I basically only applied glue at certain points but you can really apply as much glue as you like, its not going to get seen etc, the Gorilla glue even though flexible is very strong and secures the mesh very well, mrix

Hello you will need to use a flexible glue and the one I used in the video was Gorilla Gel Superglue which worked brilliantly and the mesh is still very much secured www.ebay.co.uk/p/1824495939

For me its the original style AMG grill which you can see in my other video, in my mind its a great looking grill... I never really did like the Panamericana grill as you see too much of the engine behind it, I was tempted by the diamond grill......mrix

@@mrix I have a 2016 w212 and I'm thinking of doing this, buts it's a lot of work on the w212 the c class it's easy,, but it looks great on your car looks like a new car

@@realworld822 Thanks yes most custom mods on this W204 version seem to be straightforward, I have just purchased black wing mirror cover replacements with the dynamic indicators for just £65 it should be a fairly easy job but we shall see, all the best with yours, its interesting to add these little changes, mrix

Hello yes the video was dark but for being a waste of time certainly not, it gives a clear warning to start with how visible you can see behind this grill which may not be to everyone's liking and adding some mesh will help with this issue, I am sure most will understand and get the idea.... mrix

Hi Kas, to be honest I am inclined to agree with you, I basically watched a few RU-vid videos where it was added to the W204 version like mine but having it fitted in the real life I dont really like it personally, I suppose at the end of the day its all personal preference I suppose, I have been tempted by the standard AMG grill but cannot make up my mind, also the New model diamond grill but cannot make up my mind, anyway thanks for the reply, mrix

Hi, yes its most certainly sounds like another option but my thinking with this idea was that it also protects the radiator from stone chips and other debris thrown up from the road, these Panamericana grills don't offer much protection at all, mrix

Hello, this mesh is specially designed for car grills so I hope its ok, I have not noticed any overheating to date, however I will keep an eye on it, so far I have been very happy with the outcome but time will tell I suppose, thanks mrix
