Thanks Buddy for the great video. Didn't knew about all that stuff. I loved the Sound of the Marimba. So peaceful. Have a great time. Greetings from Germany
So the stomp box , I would connect it to a mixer? I have my first show in late Feb/2021. I’m playing congas/cajon etc for an acoustic group of guitarist (ukulele, acoustic&electricguitar) &singer and that’s it. Just 3 of us. I want to add foot tambourine/hand cymbals etc. We play mostly rock ballads like Zombie by Cranberries, Rodeo Clowns by Jack Johnson , and Wild Horse by The Sunday’s . Ocasional hip hop like Red Bone by childish gambino or leftovers by Dennis Lloyd. I currently have congas/cajon/el sabor AA crash Sabian//foot tambourine . This group wants acoustic style with no drums. My question is, what’s my best set up with including chimes. Do you have a pic or multiple pics of an example for a set up that I can follow? Please advise. ❤️
Hi Ana, thanks for you msg. The analog stomp box is great to add to your set. You can simply connect to a mixer and you will have the bass sound. its very sensitive and you'll get used to it quickly. I think it would be great to mix Cajon/Stomp/foot tamborine and the crash cymbal with you hand or use a rodstick/brushes with your right hand to play the cymbals, in this way you'll have a hybrid drumset :) Try it and let me know. This would be my pic but I suggest you try more combinations, until you feel confortable ;) have fun!
Heya...I’d love to know your opinion on protecting your hands as a hand drummer? Any tips to play outdoor in the winter? And how to deal with hand pain etc? Thank you for your videos.
Hi Iva, thanks for your comment. Have a look in this video by Kalani from @worldclubpercussion - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kNmRADMHcZA.html It might help you
Thanks for your comment. Glad you liked it 🙏 I don’t think the stomp box would work with the mini speaker. The stomp box is made to use with a sound system or an amp.
Good evening Mr cajon master I wish this coming Christmas's day I'm so very happy if I have a cajon or travel cajon that's my wish thank you very much godbless❤️❤️❤️
