just a day in the life video of something i come across alot,
especially on these local dump trucks that sit and idle for a long time, filter gets caked up after a while especially if the engine isnt working like its supposed to.

God i can't stand it when people puts out negativity your doing a great job just got on your channel yep its a little scary buying a new truck but what do you do this is number 6 and i don't believe there going to do away with the DEF system the engine manufacturers have put way too much money into this just to throw it away its something we are just going to have to get used to keep up the good work young man

I'm working on a truck that the regeration is not heating up, and I was thinking about the doser injector, but now, with ur video, I'm positive about it. I will change it and see if that works. I'll let you know. Thanks and great work 👍

Is there is any way on the freightliner Cascadia 2016 you can do a region without parking is not supposed to be do a region by it self while it’s driving or it does have to be Parked

That code is similar 3375 I did read what QSOL follow the guided steps found out the CAC was leaking but other than that dude great videos! Keep it up bro!

I currently have this code and took it to a shop. They did a force regen because it was coming up very often that soot level too high. Only one week and the problem is back. Also am seeing white smoke coming from the exhaust area. Any advise would be greatly appreciated

Nice video. I have issue with Temperature T3 goes over 60 degrees than normal temperature wher doing Parked Regen. Than,7th injector stop pumping fuel until temperature goes down. That happens several time in Parked Regen. When PR is done,my diagnostic said it is completed 100%,,,,, but my truck said Regen is not meet standards and asking again for regen,or just give me 180 min before Derate. Do you know what could be issue with Temperature T3 to high(60 degrees over normal)?

It’s a 871 check the air filter Clean complete egr system replace intake pressure sensor egr diff and office pressure sensors run the overhead set remember the dpf doesn’t create soot it’s just a trash can to catch what’s coming from up stream

Depending on what year the motor is. 2015 to 2013 model year their notorious for oil consumption. The newer engines have an additional scurbber rings to elevate that problem. The pistons are carbon packed allowing oil to bypass rings.

how often should the cap be replaced on the def tank? if the vent is clogged will it cause dpf problems?

Never seen one clogged yet mostly because they don’t last very long before you have to replace the header. Most of the time you just pull the tank and clean it while your doing the header anyways

Absolutely absurd the amount of component failures due to the excess heat from Government mandated dpf systems. These systems have so many unintended consequences they end up polluting more and are worse for the environment then before they were implemented.

differential pressure across the filter, not electrical code. just telling you that sensor is reading to high of pressure across the filter

I switched my Egr doser filter my truck still wants to regen, what else could it be? Also I have a new turbo if anyone can answer. I was told it may be the nox sensor causing the problem.

Check the EGR ports, if they're blocked it won't do a proper regent

@@edwardcruz1713 I changed egr it was clogged not even 5 months old. Is there any other part not listed that it could be?? I got a new turbo new egr part the expensive one, new doser new filter. But truck turns over easy it’s just the regen isn’t working correctly. Can it be not getting enough heat to burn out the dpf? Any idea? Im going to take it to the dealership eventually to have it checked but before that I was just trying to figure out what it is that could be causing it.

What kind of fault codes are you getting? You can check the manifold pressure sensor tube if it is not plugged. You can remove the sensor and start the engine, and you should have exhaust pressure coming out of port. If not, that means the tube is clogged. Remove the tube and clean it.
