You should request beneficiary’s bank to hold that amount ASP I had an experience where the beneficiary first told he would provide a cheque to his manager to return the amount Unfortunately that was a Friday evening I had to wait till Monday morning Monday beneficiary told that it’s his money But the manager told me he have blocked the money there further he told me if I managed to send an email from my bank manager officially he would return the money back to my bank And was done that way So my opinion is don’t depend on unknown beneficiary 1.Go to your bank 2.Ask your bank representative to contact beneficiaries bank and block the amount immediately

I have a small suggestion for this episode.. it will be better if you say instead of transferring the whole amount the person can transfer a small amount of 10 rupees or something to verify the account details. Another way is store the account number in your transferring app. 1st transfer a small amount and get confirmation from the receiver. Then transfer large amount

Beneficiary Name-ഉം Account number-ഉം ഒരുമിച്ച് ആരും slip-ല്‍ തെറ്റി എഴുതാറില്ല. അങ്ങനെ ആണെങ്കില്‍ slip, Bank-ല്‍ കൊടുക്കുമ്പോള്‍ teller mistake പറഞ്ഞു തരും. So Bank-ന്റെ Mobile app വഴി transfer ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ ആണ് തെറ്റായ number enter ചെയ്യാനുള്ള chance ഉള്ളത്. So Beneficiary-യുടെ account details അവരോട് message-ലൂടെ അറിയിക്കാന്‍ ആവശ്യപ്പെടുക. So No chance for mistake. ഇനി അവര്‍ അവരുടെ Account details തെറ്റി അയച്ച് അതിലേക്ക് നമ്മൾ cash tranfer ചെയ്താൽ, അവരുടെ cash അവർ കാരണം പോയി എന്ന് മനസ്സിലാക്കാന്‍ പറയുക...😂

As per the IFSC details I provided in the app it has to transfer to ICICI Kottayam branch but its credited to an ICICI account in Gujrat. I registered a complaint with concerned ICICI branch and they have already marked a lien on this transaction. But the account holder has already withdrawn this amount. So probably I am not going to get back this money unless he is depositing that amount. When I contacted SBI, they also said that transactions will get success if the account number is correct. My experience might be a rare case, but there is a possibility for this as well. So cross verify the account number multiple times before confirming the transaction. Hope it helps.
പേര് ഇവിടെ check ചെയ്യാറില്ല. അക്കൗണ്ട് നമ്പരും IFSC code ഉം മാത്രമേ നോക്കൂ. അക്കൗണ്ട് നമ്പർ തെറ്റാനുള്ള സാദ്ധ്യത ഒട്ടും ഇല്ലെന്ന് പറയാം. കാരണം, 13 അല്ലെങ്കിൽ 14 അക്ക അക്കൗണ്ട് നമ്പരിൽ അവസാന digit നെ check number എന്ന് പറയും. ഈ നമ്പർ അതിന് മുന്പുള്ള ബാക്കി അക്കങ്ങൾ തമ്മിലുള്ള ഒരു പ്രത്യേക calculation ൽ നിന്നും generated ആണ്. അതുകൊണ്ട് അക്കൗണ്ട് നമ്പർ തെറ്റാനുള്ള സാദ്ധ്യത ഒട്ടും ഇല്ലെന്ന് തന്നെ പറയാം. അത് കൊണ്ടാണ് അക്കൗണ്ട് നമ്പർ തെറ്റി പണം പോയതായ വാർത്തകൾ പത്രമാധ്യമങ്ങളിൽ കാണാത്തതും.

I have an experience from Muscat. When my friend deposited 700 rial to my account the bank staff posted wrongly as 7000. When I received the credit message I contact my friend and he sent me the deposit slip. That was also 700. Same day afternoon bank cancelled that entry and reposted 700. Which means there is an option for Banks to clear their mistakes. But if the mistake is from our side may be as you side we have to follow legally.

Now a days I think there is no more risk to send money if we use banking apps. Because the apps are asking the payee details first and adding to payee list. Once the payee list is added there is much time to check the account details . And I think if there is any mistake in the account number then payee may not be added.
