Wow look at the great timing of the video. You defintiely need to drive around the island. It is an amazing place and so easy to drive through. I actually have never heard of Toroverde which is great because now I need a reason to go back!
The outside of San Juan are many more towns with many divisions inside and more to see. By the way... San Juan is bigger and more than Old San Juan (OSJ has history such as each of our 78 towns). With SJ as so, we have what we call the Metropolitan Area, that is San Juan with all the areas and comunities, joint in a large city with other towns as Bayamón, Cataño (Were is Bacardi), Guaynabo (A very modern area with the first city settlement in 1509), Trujillo Alto, Carolina (Were the airport is and were belong Isla Verde) and the city of Levittown that has many places to eat, restaurants, bakeries, hotel and Punta Salina Beach. Take in Santurce stop 26 or call also Sagrado Corazón Station and look some view of part of the Metropolitan Area by train, get down in Bayamón and look a part of it (It's big)such as Plaza del sol (Another mall that belongs to the Fonalleda's family, the same from Plaza las Américas) and because is next to the main town (There is trolleys and one for touristing with guide) you can enjoy a few interesting museums. Also visit the MAPR (Museum of art of PR) and in the University of PR, the museum. Recomended.

Ahh I loved this video! I've only been to Puerto Rico via cruise, so was only able to check out San Juan. Now I want to book a trip there and explore the island. May have to find a way to incorporate it into my 2023 travels (if not sooner), and will definitely refer to your recommendations when planning. Thanks for sharing!

So amazing! I lived over there my entire childhood and young adult life before moving to the US. My husband's family is from Fajardo and I highly recommend Cayo Icacos. It is beautiful!!!

Thanks for the videos but there is many more. Bacardi is not in SJ, it's in Cataño. Another town. The place you go is in diferent towns and each town has many divisions and areas. There are many places, also plenty of Shopping malls, theaters, concerts, universities to look, train, boutiques all around and many more... come back and enjoy.

I was doing some research on Cartagena, that's how I found your channel and had to subscribe. As soon as I saw PR vids I had to click, I'm puerto rican :) I will mention 2 things: the basketball court is next to La Perla, a very dangerous neighborhood that even boricuas avoid. Also, as beautiful and fun as Gozalandia is, a few fatal accidents have happened from jumping from the rocks, be careful. Awesome videos, much love!

@@ChewsToExploreif you go again, don’t do any booking through “airbnb experience” , it’s better going in person. Every tour in PR is super overprice and not regulated. Next time rent a car and look on youtube from locals how to get where you want. There is not “secret spots” in PR anymore.
