HEY CHUCK AND PAIGE, I REALLY ENJOYED THE DIVING TO BAD YOU DIDN'T HAVE SCUBA EQUIPMENT BUT IT DIDN'T LOOK LIKE THERE WAS ANY MORE TO SEE THAN WHAT YOU SHOWED. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU GUYS GO TO AUSTRALIA AND DIVE THE GREAT BARRIER REEF, YOU'RE GONNA LOVE IT. COMPARED TO WHAT YOU SAW ON THIS VIDEO IT'S LIKE A 22 OUT OF A 1 TO 10 SCALE. LOL. When I seen the silo doors open underneath Paige I started laughing, I knew what was coming. Everything looked great, my plans are to go to northern Issan on my next trip to Thailand because I have never been there, but you are making me rethink my decision. You are correct, the dishes in the Southern part of Thailand have the seasoning cooked into them especially the rice dishes which you can’t really season after it’s cooked. That kid singing and playing the guitar at the train station market reminded me of “Where, Oh Where Can My Baby Be?” when I was in high school. The chord progression is similar, and nearly everyone who picked up a guitar would sing and play it. 😁 🎸

Diving instructor apparently is one of the few legit jobs for farangs. The Thais (supposedly) aren't that keen on the whole Jacque Cousteau business. (My attempt to break the Brexit deadlock here in the UK - we should join ASEAN - doesn't have much traction).
Hi Chuck & Paige, Thank you I enjoyed your video, very good, very good‼️ I went snorkelling at the Phi Phi islands before Maya Bay got shut down due to coral damage from the many boats and visitors. We (two couples) hired a long tail boat for the day and the skipper took us into many secluded lagoons, it was a super fun day. So my question is are the ‘big boats’ the only option or are long tail boats an option to rent. ? Safe travels and best wishes, Anthony.
Nice video, but Trang is by no way "the furthest place (south) you can go by train in Thailand". That claim can only be made by Sungai Kolak on the Malaysian border near the east coast. It is about 200ks further south than Trang.
