Hey you guys! 👋 What is the oldest city you have ever been to? And what do you enjoy doing most in Saint Augustine, if you have been there? We welcome you to leave a comment below ⏬ with any questions or feedback; we love to hear from you!! 💜😊
It is so cool act you talked to the locals. This was not what I expected from a video about Florida, but that shows what I know! Thank you for the educational video, I really want to visit St. Augustine myself one day!
St Augustine looks like a beautiful town, and had no idea it was the oldest one in America. The lady you were speaking with at the schoolhouse was so knowledgeable I learned so much! I'd really like to see around the fort too because I love learning the history. Great info 👌
I would have thought Mass or New England was the oldest. Guide gives good explanation. Love historical places like this, Fort is amazing too similar to San Juan
I love the history lesson you guys added to this video. Such an amazing town. I have to get down there. It is fascinating how much of history we don't get taught in school. I never knew about St. Augustine.
Right?! Wayne especially feels like he is learned WAYYY more through traveling than he ever did in school... Yes! You will really like Saint Augustine...put it on your list! 😃
Unbelievable, this woman is amazing! So much work and effort to preserve this high valued historical area and pass it on! Thanks for sharing this place. It was a discovery for me, that it has been established before Columbus came to America 😊
wow I would have never guessed St. Augustine Florida is the oldest city in America, when visiting Florida Orlando or Miami would be anyone choice though St. Augustine Florida would be for any history buff. The oldest city visited by me is Boston, thanks for the informative video
How hot and humid does it get? Here in Hong Kong it's summer and gets to 35C (95F) and over 90% humidity! Good to see people start going back to places - it's a tricky balance between keeping the population health safe and people's livelihoods. Interesting about the Menorcans - tracing lineage of people through time is fascinating, especially to see that people have been moving around throughout the ages - hence why I think nationalism is BS. Those green-bronze cannons are really striking!
That is pretty much the norm for Florida summers! 😓😎 We were visiting St. Augustine as part of our month-long road trip last October... 🙂 It is fascinating, indeed!!
