OK in January I found out I was 217 over a gazillion and Dr's thought I was going to have a massive stroke or heart attack. So they gave me huge BP tablets. After a lot of testing and seeing the dietician I made big changes to my diet and just going for a 5km fast walk every Sunday morning before 8am. Keeping active and also I wasn't sleeping. So they gave me mild sleeping tablets. After 8 months I'm down 8Kgms in weight. My bad cholesterol has dropped a lot and my good cholesterol has gone up a lot and down to half a BP tablet. With diet and lifestyle changes it's possible to beat and lower your BP.
My brother was one of the healthiest people on the planet but high blood pressure was the culprit for two heart attacks, the second one killed him a year after the first one! He worked out daily, ate like a champ, no smoking no drinking, no drugs other than BP MEDS!
I am 72 years old. My blood pressure won't go down with meds. I so want my BP to stabilize. I actually would like to get off this one pill which I have been on too long. This video is filled with great information that I will use. Thanks so much.
@@beaubolinger1521 Thanks for your response. I will try lots of salmon. That's the only meat I eat. Those darn carbs damage our precious health. Ready for a change!
Absolutely Correct about Eating NO CARBS--I live in Australia--Eat Alaskan Canned Salmon/Sardines from Cold Water several times weekly plus Beef--Kangaroo--Venison--Heaps of pastured free range Eggs and Lots of Butter/Ghee/Tallow
I got off bpmeds. beet juice hibiscus tea, and breathing exercises 2 x da. cut back on processed foods, intermitant. fasting, lower sugar. I am mid 70 working so far since January😊.
Dr. Story not long ago you did a video recommending hand grips. I had never heard of squeezing hand grips for lowering blood pressure but I ordered them and gave it a try. My average BP reading for 10 days prior to using the hand grips was 119/81. My average for 10 days while using the hand grips dropped to 114/77. Thanks for your good advice! Plus now i can open the spaghetti gravy jar without using a bottle opener.
Dear Ray: Thank you for being a supporter of my channel. I was wondering if I can ask you a favor because it would help others get the same benefit. Would you be willing to write a review on google and yelp about your knowledge that you’ve gained from my RU-vid channel? I would greatly appreciate it because it will help others maybe seek this information. Just tell the truth about what you’ve learned and how it has helped you. People are skeptical and your review may help them try natural methods. You can find me by typing Adam Story, Chiropractic Corp. If you don’t want to I understand, but thanks in advance if you would help!
Hi, I used to study chi gong for about a year, with an elderly Chinese man in Texas, and he had us do what he called the “scent exercises“… (once you have been doing them for a certain amount of time your body would start to smell sweet, like flowers, and that is exactly what happened)! We always did the exercises in a group, and one day I left the room to go to the restroom, and when I came back I could smell something like perfume, only very sweet, not chemical-ish at all… And I finally realized that’s what I was smelling, was the “scent exercise”!!!And it’s been so long that I can’t remember anything significant from them except that they were the typical chi gong exercises… have you heard of anything like this???
This is me. I have malignant and resistant hypertension, that it caused a stroke. No medications works. They tried many bp drugs. None works, but Labetalol and Losartan works A Little. I’m scared at this point as I don’t want to die and leave my children behind. They don’t know what’s keeping my bp high, so they continue to try different scary drugs on me. I do have an Hiatal Hernia, acid Reflux, esophagitis, gastritis, and Candida overgrowth.
I showed my Dr. the last 4 months of BP of approx. 123/85. She still wanted to put me on blood pressure meds. Prior to the 4 months it was in the 140s. But I started eating right and exercising. Why would she still want me on BP meds?
I’ve been going through this for seven years and they keep saying I have to lower my blood pressure because it’s affecting my stage three kidney disease. I don’t know what they want me to do. I don’t put salt on anything.
