Can you adjust the thermostat? Ours shuts off too early in are bathroom. But our secondary bathroom it makes the room incredibly hot, same wall heaters.
There are two red lights I can see through the grill of the Cadet wall heater when it shuts off, this is something new I haven't noticed before. The heater comes back on when the lights go off. Any clues?
Michael, Those two red lights would indicate that something is overheating. The lights are a feature that our newer heaters don't have. Because of this, we would recommend that you get in touch with our tech support team so they can help you troubleshoot this further: cadetheat.com/customer-service
My heat doesn’t seems to be working, I tried everything i can and i know so far. I need help turn the heat on. How do i turn heat on, it does says reset heat push on the device itself, but have no idea what it means, I cannot even see anything to push.
Hi, Sorry to hear you're having issues getting the heater to turn on. There are a few things you can try. You need to turn your thermostat up as much as possible to see if the heater will turn on at all -- it should either be on the knob itself or on the wall. If you have a built-in thermostat and a wall thermostat, turn the built-in thermostat all the way up and then use the wall thermostat to control the heater. If that doesn't help, you should check your breaker panel and flip the circuit the heater is installed on. If your heater has a "reset" button, that will be visible through the grill and will be a red button. Not all heaters have this. If you still are having issues, reach out to our tech support team so they can help you troubleshoot the issue. cadetheat.com/customer-service
Yes, well, It didn’t had. Reset button. There is just a thermostat. It turns on and I just got little heat. Not enough. So, i m guessing i might get a new one and it’s a old unit too. Can i buy a new one and just connect all the wires to it’s places like now?
