My husband and I are so scared to become homeowners. We watched our parents struggle quite a bit growing up and the debt that comes with a house is honestly scary but we know that it's something we want to do. Your videos help to ease the anxiety because I'll have an idea of what to expect when we finally bite the bullet.
@shirleealicia I’m glad that the videos are helping out. A lot of people feel the same way you guys do and we felt the same way too before we bought our house 2 years ago. That’s why we went with a smaller home that we knew we could feel comfortable with the payment in case anything were to happen. Is there anything that you would like to know? I can totally make videos about it.
Thank you Casey. It's always fun doing videos in a different location. Do you think it would have been better if I did a little walk through of the title office?
Great video with excellent tips on what to expect at closing. I like the wire extra funds, especially in dry states like CA. Not applicable in wet states like TX as funds are there from the lender at closing.
Hi Robin, it’s different in every county. I’m in Sacramento and when all the funds are in escrow by 1:00pm it gets released to record the same day. If it’s after 1:00 then we don’t record until the next day.
@@AndrewCastelo after closing, where for homeowner to submit for condo fee and property tax? Are those the same thing to the building or where to look for, is the middle of the year for example, 2021 June move in, does it has to submit for full year property tax or not necessary
@@sapphiregarden5 It would depend on your county. The HOA fees are usually paid directly to the HOA each month. If you have an impound account, your property taxes are included in your monthly payment and the lender will send the money to the county for you. If you do not have an impound account, you would need to send the property taxes to your county twice a year. They typically send you an invoice. The county I'm in allows us to search our property address on their website and we can pay property taxes directly online. I hope this answers your question.
