I am mixed race, my hair is not straight, not curly, not wavy, not coily, not afro but a mixture of all of those. There is not a hair system I have ever that could even remotely match my hair type. It is very sad. Very heart breaking.

I'm planning to try again real soon. I did 4 years ago and it looked brilliant. But after 6 days it really began to hurt. I did a removal to see an uber red scalp with white spots! I had allergy tested the Ghost Bond, I think it was just my skin is sooo sensitive it couldn't take anything on it for long. But I gave up too early then. I should have tried alternative methods. I may even try daily attachments and night time removal, put it on a wig stand each night - old school! 😂

It’s the lace systems that annoy me more than a poly system. For me a full poly system feels like I’m not wearing anything on my head. Only when the glue starts to loosen up after about 10 days. In which case I just remove, clean and re attach.

Its the itchiness for me, after 2 weeks of wearing it, my head itches crazy that I just have to take it off

Great video! I remember also higher head temperature first weeks after the body was used to weary the system it became normal again. This new system you have is really good! You could be the next James Bond you also got the right accent that Daniel Craig never had

Haha cheers mate, tbf I do always like my cocktails shaken, not stirred 😜 Takes a bit of getting used to! It’s ironic as i think full lace base is the most comfortable but for new wearers it can be really hard to clean and rebond, so I usually recommend a poly or poly perimeter for the newer wearers

After a month it causes redness on the skin where the glue was. Back of the head. Took it off. Any suggestions?

depending on how bad the redness is you may want to give your system a break for a few days. aloe vera/coconut oil is really good, massage into scalp twice daily for a few days

Hi there lm getting my first hair system this week really nervous but l will stick at l have been going bald since l was 16 lm now 50 years old l promised myself self l would get a hair system before I turn 51 at the end of May this year also as l live in Brighton united kingdom can you please recommend a hairdresser here in Brighton that would be able to help me all l want is to feel what it's like to have a full head of hair before l turn 51 thanks would really appreciate it if you could get back to me thank you and God bless you ❤️😊

I would definitely not be able to do it. My head sweats like crazy in hot humid weather. I can't imagine all that moisture under there. Yikes.

I know people that sweat like mad who wear systems. It shouldn’t act as a deterrent. Glues and tapes are made with this in mind

Do you buy your own system? How do you get a hairdresser to agree to cut and fit it without a large charge as most prefer you to buy from them only

I’d suggest if they’re pushing you to buy one of their systems they’re probably not the right stylist for you. They’re most likely more interested in your money. Best bet is to find one who doesn’t have that as a pre-requisite. Check this site to find salons near you. If they try and charge you more than $200 for a cut in then that’s too much.
