Lovely capsule of colorful items, Maria. I didn't hear for how long you'll be gone, but with such a large capsule, you could stay for a month. Have a fantastic holiday!

Just heard you are only going for a week. Even if you want to wear something different every night you don’t need half of this to take. Nor will all this need to go together. But perhaps you were thinking of editing it down. I do like many of your options, hope you have a wonderful time

Comfortable feet are my number 1 priority so I generally travel in Skechers or trainers and take 1 pair of ultra comfortable walking sandals that I know won't rub and that still look good. I think your long navy skirt will be your hero piece and actually that plus the 2 pairs of trousers you showed at the end, the navy tshirt, the stunning pink linen shirt and the sleeveless navy/white top would likely be enough for myself for a week ! I'd also take 2 white tshirts. However I do travel alone and spend most of my time sightseeing and never go anywhere 'posh' for dinner 😅 The patterned silk shirt does look lovely with the white jeans. A navy cross body bag is ideal, I have a small Kipling which is lightweight and foldable. I don't worry about rain as my sandals are weatherproofed and I always carry a small lightweight brolly. I always take clothes for 5 days + travelling clothes no matter how long the trip is, plus anything special as a 1 off e.g. fancy dress, black tie event, wedding etc, I have spreadsheets going back 13 years + the notebook before that, all days split into morning / afternoon / evening & clothes split by tops / bottoms/ dresses

I also like to check the average weather conditions at the location where I’m going, at the dates I’ll be there. That way, I can do some general planning in advance, then check the forecast before I do my final packing🙂

I ordered a white linen jersey, unlined, blazer from Wrap, London, something I’ve been looking for for years. It’s on backorder, so I’m trying to be patient, but it will be the perfect light coverup I need for summer weather. I love that is has the structure, classic styling and shorter length I love, I don’t want to wear a cardigan or hoodie, I always feel frumpy and too casual in those. Plus, the structure is so flattering and I can’t wear anything lined in the California summer heat where I live.

Are those navy espadrilles still available, love them. I also want a pair in khaki/olive green, a big neutral in my wardrobe. Most espadrilles have 3-inch wedges, but I want some around 2 to 2.5 inches. Thanks so much, dear Maria, if you know the brand❤❤❤

Entirely way too many clothes for 1 wk. I never take white or black (it really shows dirt immediately), flowy skirts (if windy, be ready to show the world your underware). Cloth shoes get dusty quick if sightseeing in ancient, medieval sites.

As I said I edited it down and was still making decisions. Each to their own I love white on holiday and pack what I love and that feels good and to me floaty clothes are perfect for a holiday. I do t follow rules with my clothes I dress for my mood and that all sounds too boring and regimented for me.
