You are welcome. I need to plant some tomorrow. This heat is rough, I will do it early in the morning and hope the voles don't eat my seeds.

About to make up some new rows, hopefully I can get some before the frost. Last November I got an early frost and had to harvest everything the night before, only got the one harvest then no cold weather until mid-december. Heartbreaking.

HEY, that is heartbreaking. I hope that does not happen to you this year.

My list this year is almost the same as last autumn. 1. Spinach 2. Lettuce 3. Kohlrabi 4. Vit mache 5. Pak choy 6. Hon tsai tai The main difference this year is I'm keeping most of the summer plants.

You are friggin amazing dude. I don’t have the space you have and it is hotter than you know what here in Tyler, Texas, but I try to grow a few things. I don’t know how you even have time to make videos and plant so much stuff. Hats off to you. I have one question. My watermelons are doing good, but I haven’t gotten any fruit yet and have seen a couple of female flowers. What do I feed them right now? I made some yeast and sugar food and wondered how often to give it to them and if that would be enough. Thanks, man. You rock.
@GrowSomethingTasty
@GrowSomethingTasty Месяц назад
HEY, panchovcarlo!!! Thanks, I appreciate that. If you see the female flowers, pollination is an issue. You can take a Q tip and rub the male flower then rub the female flower. I would do that 2 days in a row and see if that does it. You can plant flowers to bring in the pollinators. I did that for one of my plants. You can cut a male flower and rub the female flower also.

@@GrowSomethingTasty I think I have a gay watermelon plant. LOL, I see many male flowers and no females yet. I did see one and it shriveled up before it opened. Still waiting.

Hey Bear, I didn't know you can start cantaloupe plant's in August, I might do that this week!
@GrowSomethingTasty
@GrowSomethingTasty Месяц назад
Hey Micheal, I did plant them about 2 or 3 weeks ago so I should have time to get some.

@@GrowSomethingTasty I love cantaloupe, it's sooooo delicious !!! My baby sweet watermelon's were pretty good, I don't think they were finished ripening though, the flesh along the inside of the rind was still white but they still were good! I've still got 5 still in the garden that I didn't pick yet, I'm waiting for the tendril's to turn brown. What do you think, should I leave them alone for now, or should I continue waiting? I know you're the expert on watermelon's, what do you think I should do ???

I'm really hoping mine come in, it's been rough going, but they're blooming.
