What to play over A dominant 7. Scales & Licks 

Hi, still picking your pentotonic scale? In this video we present box fingerings, licks, chords, arpeggios and improvisation moves that can be used on the A dominant 7th chord (A7) in root position. We also show how you can harmonise a Mixolydian mode with chords and arpeggios. You can use these basic patterns to improvise in various styles: jazz, blues, rock, bebop and fusion. Additionally we show different modes for playing over A7 - A Lydian dominant, E melodic minor, E minor pentatonic, A minor pentatonic +C#, A major blues pentatonic, E Coltrane pentatonic.
