I'm flying right now, literally in the air, and I have to say Lucrezia is very very good. What I would say to most of you, if you are learning any foreign language, including Italian obviously, buy some conversational Italian, dual language books that will have one side in Italian and the other in your native language. This will save you a lot of time, but please read aloud, con voce alta... Also some Italian stories books would be nice

Quando sono in un negozio di abbigliamento, chiedo sempre il permesso, ad esempio "posso provare questo?", prima di andare nel camerino di prova. I commessi mi rispondono come se non ci fosse nemmeno bisogno di chiedere. Si deve chiedere di un altro modo, o non si chiede affatto? Grazie tante!!!

Ciao! Dipende molto dal negozio: se vai in un piccolo negozietto, è cortesia chiederlo. Se vai in un negozio grande, come ad esempio Zara, non serve chiedere!! 😁

"Permesso" si usa quando devi passare, ma il passaggio è bloccato da un'altra persona, oppure quando si entra a casa di qualcuno!

Se mi consenti, farei una piccola aggiunta alla situazione dentro all'autobus. Per far spostare qualcuno che non mi permette di raggiungere le porte, direi semplicemente "permesso, scusi" o "permesso, scusate" o semplicemente "permesso"

Vorrei chiedere cosa si dice, per esempio, in un negozio, quando c'è qualcosa messa troppo alto che ti serve, ma tu non puoi prenderla, perché è troppo alto? Cioè vorrei chiedere un aiuto a un dipendente di negozio o a qualcuno che sta vicino, cosa devo dire: può aiutarmi? mi serve un po' di aiuto? E anche quando io scrivo un e-mail a qualcuno e devo chiedere un paio di cosa che non sono molto importanti, ma sono le piccole cose che non ho capito, nonostante che io avessi capito lárgomento in generale. Cioè qualcosa come "can you be a little bit more precise in these issues"?

Sì che si usa “per favore”. Non è maleducato dire “prendo” se poi aggiungi “per favore” e “grazie”. Non è strano dire “Vorrei” quando si ordina, è il verbo che si usa di più insieme a “Prendo”.

OK, so I understand when you call someone on the phone it is not normal to ask "come sta". How about when you enter a gelateria, alla barrista, or to your waiter at the restaurant? To us it is the polite thing to do. Come state? Com'e' la tua mattina? ETC
