Thank you for this! I am trying to hard to be a gentle, connected parent but I STRUGGLE with my four year old who is as slow as molasses in january for ANY task required. And even while I'm telling her to hurry up, I'm afraid that I'm causing a life-long anxiety about rushing and running behind. Which I do not want to do. This was very helpful, thank you!

I find making it fun and silly definitely helps get them through the door but also with connection! Such awesome advice! I love using your videos as a mental reset when I realize I am not hitting my parenting best.
