I remember very well that display of NLC's that appeared to be in the "wrong" place and notified my astronomy club. I was very relieved when you tweeted that you had seen the same thing in our area of Leicestershire - thank-you 😁

First of course! No mention last month or this month of the potential meteor storm morning of May 31st with - can only hope - upto 30-40 PER SECOND? Peak is 5am GMT but might be worth a look a few hours before.

Thank you for many years of "The Sky at Night" and for these monthly broadcasts. Would it be possible to expand your presentations to include more DSOs? There is so much 3D structural information in the celestial dome that changes with the seasons? E.g. - this time of year the galactic disk is aligned with the horizon and the "Realm of the Galaxies" is at the zenith. A few more months and the galactic disk, or northern galactic "spine", is overhead. Thanks again, Kurt Fisher Salt Lake City, Utah

The weather up in Lancs has been pretty awful lately. Not had one decent chance at morning planets yet. :(

How far from ic 4665, the nice open cluster in Snake Bearer, is that Comet ? You din't mention the cluster by the way.. On the 21th of June it should be very near IC 4665... and thus easy to find..

The planets can pass through Cetus and Ophiuchus ⛎ but I think that this happened due to the constellation boundaries being redrawn at some point in the 19th Century and originally the Zodiac didn't pass through them? Noculluient Clouds vary I see them most years in the north east about 23hr and about 5 days a year.Still looking for the winter equivalent, Nacreous Clouds, never seen these! Speaking of Scorpius ♏ I remember flying overnight from Rio de Janeiro to Madrid and looking out of the window mid Atlantic, not sure which side of the Equator we where at that point, and the was the Scorpion hanging in the sky.... magical.
