I've been to Malaga before, but never been to Malaga before. This time I explore the city, see the sights and enjoy the food (washed down by the occasional beer). #malaga #andalucia

The pressure waiting to hear your score on the Calamari! Glad you enjoyed it, there's a reason this place is always busy with locals :) Málaga is one of our favourite cities and it felt like we were there with you, brilliant! Although with the WC sign on the inside of the door does that mean you can have a pee in the corridor?

My god with all the adverts and sponsor promo’s what a hotel to take, miles from anywhere, and no staffed reception in a back street, give me a brand hotel

I know the feeling when you can't fall asleep because you are too excited about something.

Malaga went like Barcelona, just 15 years later. Calle Larios was a busy traffic street 20 years ago, now beautiful and pedestrianised with Rolex, Gucci etc But....at what cost to the locals? Just like in BCN they've been evicted, rents hiked and the old businesses like the iconic Cafe Central are now long gone, just like their customers. Now it's the turn of Alicante to experience this "progress".

I can imagine if you're booking a triple room with inner courtyard view, a private toilet & shower, and they'll have someone waiting for you at the entrance, the kind of hotel one would expect is something maybe a tad fancier than that one.

If you’re still in Malaga, Scott, then a local recommendation for you. Check out an ice cream place called Casa Mira (located on Calle Larios) and an ice cream they sell called Turron. It has an almond flavour and is a local delicacy, often eaten around Christmas time (but sold all year). You know it’s a good place when you have to take a number and wait to be called to be served. Well worth any wait though.

You inspired me to go to Bucharest a few weeks back, now I'm also planning to add Malaga to my next trip to Europe. Thanks!

After living there in Málaga for almost two years and having to leave it almost forcefully because of covid I have to say I really miss it and your video took me back to memory lane. It's great to see the city is full of life again and looking forward to returning there soon
