Honestly i actually brought a box of books about 30 total. I probably read all of them at some point. But i do regret wardrobe choices. The only problem with this advice is the assumption we are heading home in the year....
If you want a colander IKEA do a silicon collapsible one thats great and takes up less room. Also if you really need an ironing board they do small ones too however some accommodations do come with an ironing board so its worth a check. Thirdly it depends on what you actually cook on whether you need a tray or not, if you like chips and stuff like that then its pretty essential to take one however if you just cook things on a stove or microwave or takeaway then there's not much point. Just be honest with yourself with how much effort youre going to put in with cooking. With the printer, some courses to free printing so its worth waiting till you get there to see how much printing your course actually needs. Something thats also maybe worth a shout is a whiteboard to keep yourself organised and also motivated. I got my friends to always write something on it when they were in my room so if I was having a tough day it was something to pick me up.
Biggest tip Take what you think without panicking If you missing something go to a store or order on Amazon If there is something that is being useless put it in a spare box and ale it home on your next Holiday USE THAT TO MAKE A LIST AND COLLECT HOME ITEMS YOU FORGOT
well at home my kitchen is kept clean 24/7/365 or my mum has a nervous breakdown, she'll probably have to go a trauma clinic if she takes a look at university hall kitchens
This was so informative yet funny X❤ Please do more if you want, maybe uni story telling of things that happened in first year. Going uni in September 😊but I've started watching you months ago x
I’m so obsessed with your videos, another super helpful one as I’m going this September! Also I love how your personality is starting to shine through in these videos haha. Btw I hope this question isn’t weird but what is your ethnicity? You look like you’re mixed with south asian. Regardless you’re so beautiful and your skin is so nice 😩
The whole rice to water ratio thing is irrelevant anyway, you should rinse your rice even after cooking to remove the starch and stop it going soggy and clumpy. But hey everyone eats soggy rice and pasta BC no one knows how to cook lmao
Actually the proper way of cooking basmati rice is to drain it after parboiling and to steam it the rest of the way to completely cook through. And always always rinse the rice well before cooking
nah I just got triggered by the slugs hahahah I had forgotten that dark period (also just wait until you live with Ethan who spills literally all food on the kitchen floor)
