I so much appreciate you two! I really enjoyed the news about what our team is doing now. Wow! They're on campus! Does that mean they got their rooms for the fall and the upcoming up year? The news about the injured ones coming back especially Aubrey, my fav! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
Phil, have you heard of PTO? No not personal time off at work. Place, Time, and Occasion. You misunderstood Geno insinuating that PB gets the ball a lot. What Geno expects from Paige is in important games and critical situations, PB needs to turn on the mamba mentality and elevate her game to the next level by taking over the game like a superstar Diana T did at UCONN. After the Iowa loss, PB admitted that she should have done more at the postgame interview. In the upcoming season, I am concerned about the basketball IQ and the mental maturity of the UCONN players. After AE's and NM's departure, I don't see it. PB stayed another year to win the championship. Will her younger teammates match her energy?
I wish I could observe a practice or two. As of now I am hyper focused on the returning injured players. So much of this teams success depends on at least one of the big three coming back strong. But the pit in my stomach is telling me that I should keep my expectations in check. Azzi is in the exact position Paige was last year. It is nothing less than an audition year for her. If she wants to be taken seriously as a WNBA prospect, she absolutely needs to play a full, injury free season with good numbers. Peace!
Chen / Bueckers / El Alfy / Strong / Cheli = starters. Book it. Fudd/Griffin/Shade/Arnold/Brady/Ziebell off bench with regular (even significant) minutes. Fudd won't start so as to protect her health (and because she'll be deadly off bench). Cheli = surprise player. Chen = $$$. Strong will be awesome. Bueckers is a pro on a collegiate roster. Hope they can defend well enough to take home a championship.
Here is a little bit of controversy. Scar has beaten you guys four times in a row and they will beat you guys again. I can’t wait to see you guys’ faces when geno loses his fifth straight game to Scar. That would be the 1st time that has happened to geno
It is what it is. They are just better right now. UConn needs to recruit better. Or South Carolina needs to get unlucky with injuries. Or Dawn needs to leave for another job. Something like that will have to happen to flip things.
You're really going to say that after UCONN had 3 years in a row of the team wiped out with injuries? Really? If you're going to go there... let's talk about men playing in women's sports especially Scar.
@@TheDisruptiveOne Agreed, that is Uconn's challenge. Perhaps El Alfy., Strong, Brady and Griffin could challenge SC in the front court in a gang effort. It wold take aa collective performance greater than the sum of their individual talents but not impossible. that combined with a hot shooting night could produce an upset.
