@@Aliceinparisofficial That will be wonderful. As I mentioned, we will be there in the winter. Every time I have been there it has been summer, so I have little idea what to bring. Similar, perhaps to Venice? I was there in February.

Never wear a beret in France…..the French call that the first tipoff that you’re a tourist. I see the bucket hat more than any other. But many hats are worn there….superb city!

I am planning a 7 days trip to Paris in 1/1/24. Is beginning of Jan a good time to visit? I heard that there are sales in mid Jan, does that mean I will miss all the sale since I come too early?
