Hahaha, but tbf to bethesda they never claimed no loading screens and if you have okayed any of thoer other open world games every door is a loading screen. But I am annoyed that starfield ran like ass and still does. SC runs better on my PC and looks 100x better
I didn't realize I had to choose a profession. I have done and in Star citizen enjoy doing nearly all of them. The game may not be for everyone, but I bet most people can find something they enjoy doing. Thanks for the video bro
No need to choose, you can do whatever you want. There will be reputation, so if you focus on trading, you would have "good contracts" faster if you only did trading. But you can do exploration, data running, fighting... The only "you have to choose" moment is if you want to be an outlaw - because that basically heavily inhibits your ability to play any other roles ;)

I think they mentioned science will be able to customize blueprints for crafting. In World of Warcraft if you are that guy with the specific leatherworking recipe, you might be a lucrative craftsman. Not sure if that could work with 9-1 AI to player ratio and Quantum system instead of player driven economy, as you would need a reason to choose a specific player as your retailer, but it's something I really look forward to see how plays out. I think the professions will often be chosen for me me rather than the other way around, based on monetary gain, progression and what is the flavour of the month at the time.

I admit I had only been watching your streams, but recently clicked on your a recent non stream video of yours and was completely blown away by the quality and ended up down the rabbit hole of binge watching more! Nicely put together. Nice footage. Still want the game current gameplay loops to change. I play for 2 months, get bored, come back 12-15 months later. Rinse repeat. Something needs to change. My background, at this stage of my life is moreso survival, base building and quests. (think Ark Survival Evolved/Survival Ascended). I don't know if SC will end up here, butt I don't see how Star Citizen will stop a player from dropping once they get arrested. How do you keep criminals, that are caught, continue playing? They won't stay in jail. Staying in a "capture box" will result in disconnects. Whole project, in my opinion is slowly inching more towards vaporware. Investors demand profits and you can see RSI chasing that the last few years (focusing on SQ42, trying to sell the game engine, etc). I have an extensive background, including game development. The vision is great, but the change management cycle is IMPOSSIBLE to keep up at this point of this "project"
I actually like being space uber I want to get a 600i for when I do decide to just carry people around I may just start piloting whole groups to missions and just staying in the ships and figuring out how to make prices for where Im going
Its for the retired gamers, we fought endless battles, conquered uncountable bosses and games. Now it's time to retire in sc, May we still have one battle to come with our final squadron and show them who makes up the rules in the verse. Shortly after the battle we will dissapear and may peace be withon us. Still war is in our blood, they know where to find us when they need us

I wish doing missions and loading ur vehicles or snub fighters into your lager ships was simple. But in Bug Citizen, it takes 3 hours to even get ready to do a more difficult game loop and at that point i loose my patience. If another bug happens i just turn it off.

"Who exactly is starcitizen made for?" - not me. This game looked fun. Fun enough that I paid 45 dollars for a ship so that I could play. The game honestly disappointed me. I'm not saying it's a bad game. It's just not all that they advertised it to be. For a game that's multimillions and 10 years in the making, it was disappointing. I've seen games in production for much less than 10 years and much less money that we're much better.
Did they start out with an existing studio and an engine they didn't modify much? Because usually that's a reason behind the faster development cycle people point to in other games.
@AccidentalFriendlyFire they had to go through a lawsuit that took multiple years to be able to make changes to and use another game engine. They also do a lot of R&D and had to build their entire backend and front from scratch. Plus make changes to the game engine after the lawsuits went through in their favor. To allow for what we the players voted on. Just the tech for flying down to the planets alone and gravity took several years to properly flush out and transfer to the new engine
