There is a much easier fix to the hopper issue, use hopper minecarts. It might seem odd but hopper minecarts transfer items extremely quickly, outpaces the hopper hundredfold. Try to use them for your storage, they are really easy to set up and for them to transfer, all you need is to put it over the chest and have it start transferring.

You could square off the string farm so water funnels from all 4 corners into the center and have it all drop into one collection area. From there you can layer it up, rather than build them side by side.

I love the video names for these. Normally I'd be confused, but the strange context names are just synonymous with this run now.

I have a quick but lengthy solution for your string collection system problem. I've never built a string duper yet but I'm assuming that water you put under the strings is needed so, let that water flow for 2-4 blocks, just enough so that the falling string picks up momentum. Then put a few open fence gates at the end so that wanky looking water stops. Then dig a "trench" one block under those fence gates so the string just falls down, put a water at the start of this "trench" (like you've already done to realign them into the hoppers) Water flows 8 blocks so in the trench dig down one more and place a hopper in those places which you can then connect not to each other but instead into 8 individual chests (4 double chests) so the hopper pickup speed won't be a problem since the water carries any string across 8 hoppers and one will eventually pick it up. You might have to dig down one block on the outside to access the chests in the ground tho. Oh and also, use glass above said chests, you can open them because glass is technically not a solid block, so you don't have to stop the duper and break blocks every time you wanna take out the string. I'm really bad at explaining things in short and English isn't my first language but hope I made enough sense for you to understand 😅

Hi Juice, this is a trick for the string farm. Fishermen buy strings aswell (but on their first trade).

If you roll to get a Shepherd with a White Wool trade, you can craft 4 String to Wool as well! More trades!!!

Solution to the end dimension could be to encase the parts you use in several layers of coble/deepslate/ores to simulate a cave experience? Loads of work but would keep the spirit of underground?

I think a good restriction on the end is something like, you can go there for 10 or 20 days max and than wait a day. Or having to stay out of there for as long you where there. For example if you are there 15, 17 or 189 days than you have to stay underground for 15, 17 and 189 day respectively.

You could use water streams to pipe the string to right next to your fletchers into the chests.

you can also place 2 hoppers below 1 chest to make items get out faster. and along the small water stream you could place a few hoppers trasnsporting items into a second storage system so the hoppers don't overflow

It doesn't matter if you lose some, because you will not be able to keep up with its speed anyway, and it's infinite. You can just put 4 hoppers in front of the duper, under which you have 2×2 chests. You can also lower the floor from ladder to duper by 2 blocks so you can easily access these chests. I hope you will optimize your design somehow, I just can't watch you struggle on this without a headache. 😂

One thing you could do is use hopper minecarts under the block to catch string faster.

add some water and lava to farm golems bro or make a iron farm already its pretty easy .....it hurts me whe i see you farming golems like that or going for a mining session.... and the daily upload is quite amusing and fun ...keep it up mate !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

to optimise the water flow you can keep your water like it is but place blocks under the big water stream until the end. now place signs over the one block thic water line that transports your items inside the hopper and everything wil flow a lot cleaner. And place stairs on top of the chest so you can still open it.

Fisherman also have a string trade and you dont have to level them up also rebuild it in the tradi g hall or bring the fisherman to the room you built it
