What Vegetables To Feed Your Red Eared Slider Turtle. Greens and Fruits. 

Hello and welcome back to another didimitten video. This video touches lightly on what greens I feed Mr Turtle and what vegetables I avoid.
His favorites are red and green leaf lettuce. These are definitely the most cost effective and nutritious and lucky Mr Turtle's favorites. You can also give your turtle turnip greens, dandelion leaves and water plants such as Anacharis and Water Hyacinth, Amazonian Swords and Water Lilly. There are many others but they are costly and your turtle will destroy them quickly.
I do avoid spinach, kale and cabbage due to the high phosphorous and low calcium ratio and also avoid iceberg and romaine doe to it's lack of nutrition.
Some fruits are fine too such as strawberries, bananas and apples but those can be given as a rare treat.
