Next time you go to Cozumel, leave the port area! It’s a gorgeous island with the friendliest residents of any Mexican port. There are fantastic beach clubs that aren’t very expensive. There are many tour companies and they are very safe. Cozumel has very little crime overall. It’s one of my favorite ports.
That's funny! We saw some of the same things in Cozumel September 1st. I even took a pic at the shark photo op and used it for the thumbnail for my Cozumel RU-vid video.
Yes, we are definitely missing it. Too bad the prices now are so much higher than when we went….we plan on doing an Alaskan cruise at the beginning of next Fall.
@@AJ-wd4sb I’m afraid I can’t answer that specifically but I can say that there were definitely buses and taxis waiting just outside of the port area taking people around so perhaps if you just asked they would let you know. According to google maps though Villahermosa is a good 8 hr drive away…..why would you want to go that far from the port? Unless you’re referring to a different Villahermosa than what I’m thinking of. Thanks for watching!
Our phone plans include service in Mexico so we did not actively look for Wi-fi while in ports. But I am pretty sure free wi-fi is available at many of the shops and restaurants in the tourist area near the boat. Just as an FYI, T-Mobile plans include free international data in 95% of the countries around the world. I travel internationally on a regular basis and it's been a total game changer. T-mobile is the only provider I know that has this perk and it only runs me around $35 a month. In Mexico and Canada you get LTE just like you would here in the States.
Where in the video did we complain about Cozumel? I agree with you , Cozumel is definitely beautiful, it just isn't an ideal destination from a cruise perspective. If you want to truly enjoy Cozumel you're better off flying there directly and enjoying for a few days vs. a few hours. Either way, thanks for watching the video.
